I called first to see if they were okay with 6 people coming in 30 minutes before close, they accepted. And we had some amazing food. There are no pictures, we all ate it up. Great prices for huge portions. Flavor was great, staff were awesome. Definitely will be back, but not as late.

Update: been here a couple times now and it’s my favorite spot for Chinese food. The food is good and the portions are huge. We’re from Boise so I don’t get it often but whenever we are up that way we definitely stop by. I’ll even grab an extra order for the next day. Definitely a must try spot.
Huge portions and a lot of options. Overall it is better than good but not great. Would like to give it a 4.5 if I could. One thing i really loved though is that they have a small booklet with pictures of all the foods with the names of the food. That helps so much in ordering. Will definitely stop by again.

Asked for how long for food and they said 35 minutes, turned out to be an hour and 45 minutes People came in after us and got food before us! It was a little strange as we had two meals and it was not extremely busy. So ultimately the service was slow. I could tell the main gentleman was a kind man and trying his best. He was aware of when drinks were needed which was nice.
The food itself was okay. One plate came out incredibly hot while the other plate was cold! Very disappointing after waiting so long.
I would say it’s probably a better experience pick up or take home instead of dining in as it seemed they took priority of those orders. Will not be going again. Hope you have a better experience than we did! We will just go to Panda Express for half the money, twice the speed and yummy food.

The food was terrible. $65 worth of yuck. The only thing we enjoyed is the shrimp. My hubby and I tried it right after they moved and we thought it was awful. So I gamely tried it with a friend today. When they were in McCall we ate there regularly and loved it. One signature dish I loved from mccall is honey almond shrimp. The sauce was a totally different color and was very mustard. It used to be white. When I asked about it he said the color varies. Huh??? We told him we didn’t like it but he offered no break or apology. It’s sad that the quality has completely disappeared.

Food was amazing with great portions that look bigger than in pictures. I had the Mongolian Beef dinner special and it was a bit spicy, but delicious. Service was great as well. The restaurant itself is only slightly small and crowded but otherwise good! Will definitely come here again!

Small restaurant, but attentive staff and great food. They were very accommodating to change dishes for my daughter, who is a vegetarian. Only place I ever had egg flour soup without a chicken broth base. This was fabulous as my daughter could eat it. It had a number of veggies in it and tasted really good – and unexpected but delightful twist. I am going to McCall again in October and may talk friends into going to Donnelly to eat here.

Third time at this restaurant in two months. All were lunch stops. On this lunch trip as I walked in after the restaurant opened 20 minutes late, the worker produced a bill and told me I didn’t pay the last visit. I clearly remember paying as I took it to go. I then logged into my us bank app and showed him the exact amount paid to this restaurant. Then a woman came from the back, and it started all over again. I showed her my bank statement. She said I must have taken their receipt. I assured her that I had not, and them losing the ticket I signed was a they problem. Then a waitress walks in 45 minutes late and again accuses me of not paying. She was in fact the waitress I had paid. I will add ,that I was there buying lunch for seven people. 130 dollar bill. People were in this restaurant as these conversations were happening. It was very unpleasant. Sadly as no other chinese food exist in Valley County, I will not patronize this establishment ever again.

Great place! Ordered over the phone and then picked up my order and it was done in a good amount of time 🙂 I loved the chow mein! So feeling and tasty! Mongolian beef was so tasty wish there was more meat! Overall loved that it wasn’t as greasy as other places and good!

Really wonderful food. We got the lunch special which came w soup and wow…both soups were incredible. General Tso Chicken was perfectly crispy and saucy and cashew chicken was right on the money too! Perfect stop from a day at Tamarack. Can’t wait to come back and try the Mongolian beef!
