First time ordering and I got it to go. Called in my order and the girl who helped me was really nice and didn’t make me feel rushed as I told her it was my first time. I ordered garlic edamame, California-Tyler-Spider-Habanero rolls. When I arrived it was really hot in the restaurant which could be their AC is broken but i feel like that’s everywhere. Same girl who took my phone order charged me and as I told her I didn’t like other places in town I was really looking forward to trying them. All the rolls were really good, my only disappointment was the garlic edamame. It was over cooked. With edamame the color is still bright green and they are firm soybeans. This was not the case today. They were a dull green and mushy. I will definitely go back for rolls but know now not to order the edamame. Willing to think it Could’ve been an off day but who knows.

I’d rather have boxed sushi from a grocery store !!!! Huge in diameter, no flavor( all you taste is the tempura ), overpriced for the quality. Got my son chicken tenders, 3 tiny ones for $11??!!! And they were burnt too.

Overall the sushi was ok. I didn’t like that the sushi rolls were cut too big. Too much money! The quality of the food is not that great. The pictures of the place look nice but they don’t have white floors they have nasty Green carpet. We went around 7:30 p.m. there were no lights on in the dining area just in the kitchen and the AC was not turned on. Just the fans were blasting high but it was still hot. This made it uncomfortable for me and my family. Maybe they’re trying to save on PG&e bill. I ordered hot sake with my mail and they did not give it to me until I asked for it again and by the time they brought it out we were already almost done with our dinner. When I did receive it it burned my finger tips. Then I had to wait for it to cool down and everyone was ready to go by then. On top of all that I never even got a buzz and I rarely even drink. I normally get a buzz off of one beer. Did they cook the alcohol out of it or something? Or maybe it just is not good sake. I did raise an eyebrow to the fact that there was not one Asian person working in the restaurant nor cooking. I guess this restaurant did not capture the essence of a good sushi restaurant.

I ordered through doordash. Right before closing, I might add. Let me tell you…this place makes AMAZING sushi rolls! HUGE sushi rolls even! The mango saki was delicious paired with my white spider roll! I HIGHLY recommend to the sushi-loving community out there, both local and just visiting! Your taste buds (and wallet) will thank you!

While traveling through Marysville we asked Google for a “sushi place near me” and followed directions to Hai Sushi House. We were greeted friendily and dug into the large menu that had plenty of choices. Even several non raw, vegetarian and no fish options. Service was quick and food came exactly as we ordered. Fish was fresh, sauces were good and the beer was cold. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean and maintained. Location is easily found off HWY’s and there is plenty of parking.

Restaurant is located in a strip wall. All light from outside is blocked….very rundown, shoddy appearance inside. We ordered agadeshi tofu and were served a huge chunk of tofu swimming in a viscous dark liquid. Agadeshi tofu is usually served in cubes, delicately fried on all sides with flavorful thin sauce. Texture was all wrong. Sushi was ok. The dessert of fried tempura was like eating raw dough. The inside cook does not know what he is doing though the sushi chefs are fine.
