The drinks were all tasty and well made, with care being taken to make sure each one was made correctly. The lemonade shake up was our favorite drink of the night.
There is a good variety of arcade games available. Upstairs was a bit more lively because of the live DJ that was there, and had more arcade games. The atmosphere felt good, with the music being spot on.
It felt more like a bar first and foremost, that also had arcade machines. The Jurassic Park pinball machine was nice. Some of the machines, such as Street Fighter 2 being 50¢ a play, seemed a bit of an odd choice. But overall a fun time was had!
Would definitely recommend this as a night out for any group, or even solo just to have a drink at the bar with a fun, youthful atmosphere. We will be back!
There’s card/board games, arcade machines (paid but some are free), console games (Sega Genesis and Wii), ping pong, and billiards (paid). The decor is funny and geeky. There’s even a prize if you can manage to beat the highscore on the basketball arcade game.
They serve cocktails, spirits, and beer. I had the “Pleasure Island”, “Kroger Parking Lot Death Match”, and “Challenge Accepted”. Pleasure Island was a fruity, lightly fizzy, and sweet cocktail. It hid the vodka well. Death Match was similar, but a bit less sweet and I could certainly taste the bourbon. Challenge Accepted is two shots where the bartender calls the shots (heh) on what goes in them. They’re supposed to be challenging to drink. The bartender first asked if there was anything I couldn’t drink (due to allergies or meds or what have you), which was a thoughtful safety precaution.
There’s no food served here by the way, so eat before you go. Can’t wait to go back!
The bartender working was pretty rude, and the cocktails he made me and my party were not great (except for the lemon shakeup! It was great). When I had questions about certain drinks, he literally talked to me like I was a child. Maybe he was having a bad night? I’ll be back eventually to give this place another shot because I really want to like it.
The atmosphere is incredible—artistic, inviting, and fun all at once. My 12-year-old son had a blast playing games while I caught up with friends at the bar. The drinks were outstanding; my son loved his Dr Pepper float, and I was thrilled with the amazing selection of tequilas.
We will definitely be back!
