I absolutely loved this place! I found it by chance near the park, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of the day. The coffee was delicious, and even though I’m not very familiar with this culture, I ordered something at random and it did not disappoint — a real explosion of flavors I couldn’t stop eating!
The service was excellent, both in English and Spanish — the guy kindly explained everything to me in Spanish.
I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

I recently visited one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a while. The menu isn’t very extensive and there are no meat dishes, but the sabich options are absolutely excellent. The sabich in malawach was outstanding, rich, flavorful, and instantly transported me back to the tastes of Machane Yehuda market.
The only downside was that the filling felt a bit sparse, so the dish wasn’t very filling. I ended up ordering an additional sabich in pita, which was good, but there’s no doubt the malawach version is the real winner.
Overall, a great spot with memorable flavors—just wish the portions were a bit more generous.

Hadekel is actually unreal. We got the Israeli breakfast, malawach, and cheese burkas and I’m still thinking about it. Everything tasted so fresh, rich, and perfectly seasoned — like real home-style Israeli food, not watered down at all. The malawach was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the dips + eggs + salad combo was elite. The cheese burkas were buttery, flaky, and dangerous because you literally can’t stop eating them.

Hadekel is a true gem in Aventura! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. They were incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, offering thoughtful recommendations that did not disappoint.

The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Israeli. You can tell they take pride in every dish they serve. On top of that, the entire restaurant was spotless, which only added to the overall great experience.

If you’re looking for a high-quality kosher spot with amazing service and even better food, Hadekel is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Decent food and service, but I was taken aback by how small the portion sizes are in comparison to the price. As this is an Israeli restaurant I would like to see big israeli portions as well (I wouldn’t mind israeli prices too :p)

We ordered the cauliflower, pita sabich and halloumi salad- which were decent, but again very small plates.

Ambiance is nice, there is a spacious seating area inside as well as a smaller space outside.

Service is decent. Keep in mind there is an 18% gratuity automatically added to all seated meals.

I was dissapointed to see that they cannot split the payment according to what each person ordered, only evenly.

We were offered 2 free pastries if we posted a Google review each.

Overall, I would say it was an ok experience.

If you’ve ever yearned for the kind of warmth and authenticity that only a true Israeli restaurant can provide, look no further than Hadekel in North Miami. From the moment you step inside, it feels like you’ve been transported to the heart of Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, where the food is not just a meal, but a deep, nostalgic embrace. This is, without question, the best Israeli experience in South Florida — a rare gem where every aspect of the experience leaves you feeling satisfied, cared for, and utterly delighted.

Let’s start with the service, which is the epitome of hospitality. The staff here are not just servers, they are family, treating each guest with such kindness and attentiveness that you feel more like a cherished guest in their home than a customer at a restaurant. It’s not just friendly; it’s genuine, overwhelming warmth, with glowing smiles, gracious gestures, and an infectious enthusiasm that sets the tone for the entire meal. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you’ll be treated like you’ve been coming for years, which makes every visit feel personal and special.

Now, let’s talk about the food — an absolute masterpiece of Israeli cuisine, served with the kind of passion that you can only find in an authentic Israeli kitchen. Whether you’re indulging in the rich, savory shakshuka with perfectly poached eggs in a spiced tomato sauce, or savoring the crispy, golden schnitzel with a side of freshly made hummus, every dish is a trip down memory lane for anyone who’s spent time in Israel. The hummus is creamy, the challah is soft and fluffy, and the croissants? They melt in your mouth with layers of buttery perfection. Each dish is prepared with such care and attention to detail, it’s hard not to be transported straight back to the streets of Tel Aviv or Haifa.

The pace of service here is nothing short of impressive. You won’t be left waiting long for anything, and despite the quickness, you never feel rushed. Every dish arrives at your table fresh, vibrant, and hot, and the kitchen is clearly committed to providing you with a level of care that’s unmatched in many other establishments.

And let’s not forget about the pastries. From flaky, melt-in-your-mouth croissants to the delicate sweetness of Israeli desserts, it’s impossible to resist trying them all. They are nothing short of wonderful.

The space itself is as lively and welcoming as the food and service. The spacious dining area, with both indoor and outdoor seating, strikes the perfect balance between a comfortable, inviting atmosphere and an exciting, vibrant setting. The Middle-Eastern decor, filled with warm colors, intricate patterns, and touches of traditional artistry, adds an extra layer of immersion to your experience. Lively Israeli music fills the air, bringing an energetic, joyful rhythm to the atmosphere that perfectly complements the meal.

What sets this place apart, however, is the culture it fosters. Dining at Hadekel is not just about eating; it’s about feeling the joy of life, the celebration of community, and the hospitality that makes Israeli dining so special. In stark contrast to the often impersonal or stiff service you might find in American establishments, here, the waitstaff go out of their way to make sure you feel like part of the family, with every need attended to and every request met with an eagerness to please.

Hadekel in North Miami is a revelation. The combination of authentic, diverse Israeli food, exceptional service, warm hospitality, and a vibrant atmosphere makes it a standout in South Florida’s restaurant scene. It’s a place where you don’t just eat — you are enveloped in an experience that stays with you long after you’ve left. This restaurant is, without a doubt, the best of its kind in the area, and a must-visit for anyone seeking the true taste of Israel.

Just downright good food – and it happens to be kosher. Casual unassuming setting, reasonable prices, and attentive service. The heated baked goods and latte were a delicious way to start our brunch, and the main courses were all excellent, not to mention the homemade cheesecake. Everything is made with finesse, seems like you can’t go wrong no matter what you order.
