We tried the fish and chips at Broens Street Food Market, the fish batter was very tasty and the fries were good. Honestly a bit too overpriced for a food market and the dips for the fries come with extra charge.

Located in Broens Street Food market. It’s a little expensive but everything in the food market is. I got the Fish and Chips and Calamari and Dip. The fish was battered and fried fresh and was very good. Would pass on the Calamari next time, but that might be my preference.

Excellent experience at Haddock’s Seafood! The people are really kind, they answered all my questions about the allergenes that could be inside the food they served (they are well organized, they have a book with all the allergenes for each meal served). The food was amazing, it was the best fish and chips I ever tasted! I totally recommand that place to any people visiting Copenhagen!

Fast service despite the fact that the queue was big. Good food for street food. The fish was very greasy but in general it was decent. We wanted calamari but they were unavailable at 1 pm on Saturday. Very nice atmosphere at Broens Street Food place.

I had the mussels, it was really tasty for a street vendor. The portion is huge and their fries are honestly great! It takes around 6 to 7 minutes for the mussels to be ready, as they cook it to order. It was hot and tasty and very appropriate for a windy day at Copenhagen. I would suggest that you get another dish and share both with someone, as after some time you get tired of the mild mussel flavor and slimy texture.

FYI: You do pay a bit extra for the pot as a deposit! Once you bring them back they will give you back the money. Overall it was a nice plate of food with a good portion.

The nearness of the sea and the Summer vibes at the Broens street food court, made me want to try the moules-frite from Haddock. The shellfish were cooked in a traditional black pot (for which you had to pay a small deposit), contributing to the experience. The handpicked mussels were easy to take out and were of good quality, no crabs or junk inside, and the vegetable stock in which they were cooked was well-seasoned. The fries were not bad either, and came in a very generous portion!
So far the review for the evening itself. Later that night, unfortunately, I saw the mussels a second time after suffering from food poisoning. Probably they had been sitting out for too long, or were slightly undercooked.

Great food, tasty fish and ships and drinks are nice too even if the one I took was a bit too sweet with the fish and chips. Take away or eat on the place is nice too, especially when the weather is nice and sunny. Beware of the birds who want to steal your food at the first occasion!

I had the calamari and a friend of mine had the fish and chips, both with aioli as the side sauce. The fish and chips was a decent portion, however the calamari was slightly on the smaller side for the 65kr I paid, so I do think it’s slightly overpriced. The food itself was good but quite greasy, definitely good if you’ve been drinking but maybe a bit too heavy if you’re just looking for something to eat
