Took some business professionals here for a lunch and was surprised to see almost no one inside at noon during the week! There was 1 guy at the bar, but he left almost as soon as we sat down. The bartender was also our waitress and overall she did a good job. Waters didn’t stay empty for long as she brought over a large pitcher mid way through the meal. I don’t recall her ever asking how our meal was at all. We had to go to the bar to pay the check & ask for to go containers, since she didn’t come back to our table. There was maybe 2-3 people at the bar at that point, but I didn’t see her visiting with them at all either. 2 of us at the table got the 4 pcs of broasted chicken, one plate arrived right away and looked amazing! The second plate arrived after everyone else had their food and looked pitiful!! The first plate’s chicken barely fit on the plate, while the second plate of chicken didn’t even cover 1/3 of the plate!! It looked like they ran out of chicken and either cooked up some Cornish game hen quick or shot a crow! Very disappointing! The side salad was also pretty minimal, lettuce, cheese & croutons, nothing more. Everyone said their food was good, but I just ended up getting the short end of the stick. I would have thought maybe they’d divvy up the smaller pieces between the two plates instead of giving one plate all the mini pieces!

The first time, won’t be my last! Soup and sandwich special on Friday was on point and just what I was looking for. I didn’t even get a chance to look over the menu that I have heard so much about. The soup was fantastic, and although i wish the sandwich had one more piece of fish on it, it was very good also. Looking forward to my next visit.

This is a great place to go if you are wanting drinks and apps. Awesome smoked Gouda cheese bites and cheese curds. Good chicken strips and fries. The was a good bar burger, ordered with a fried egg but came out without one. The Reuben was ok the meat is like a steak patty of chopped meat like McDonald’s uses for their bagel steak sandwiches. Service was average.

An all around great place! Family owned and operated. Great food, awesome staff, relaxing patio, super atmosphere, friendly patrons. Jukebox, pool table, pull tabs, gambling video games, several tvs, sports memorabilia. Live music is making a comeback, too. We went for breakfast today. Amazing!

Besides the extremely handsome man temding the bar, for a total of 37$ to be charged 47$ for nachos with processed knock off philly steak meat an not “steak” givem that i arrived 27 minutes late to pick it up soggy chips is given but not such stell ones, mainly bread fried mushrooms with a hint of burnt grease, and extremely tasty burbon sauced half cooked (still pink) boneless chincken wings, what a wonderful birthday meal for my children an i to enjoy with the only money i had,(that secretly i didnt have, at least not to spend on nonsesne) guess thats what i get.

Food is always well prepared and savory. The atmosphere is outdoorsy, and service was limited. Wait times were longer as they were short staffed. Very friendly staff and worth the wait.
