It was great service and the food was just immaculate! We got dessert at the end as well: fried ice-cream and flan and the portions were just HUGE! It wasn’t over-priced and it felt almost homey with the warm lighting and beautiful tables and chairs

Visited this restaurant recently and was fairly satisfied with the overall experience. The service was great. The interior is warm and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and efficient. We were greeted and seated promptly, and the food was served quickly. The food is my only complaint. While it was hot, the item I had was full of onions and peppers and very little chicken. The vegetables had a lot of moisture and caused the flour shells to be soggy. I feel like they should have been cooked longer, and there should have been more meat. The rice was dry, and the medium-sized plate was half full of shredded lettuce and a few pieces of diced tomatoes. The lettuce came across as simply a way to fill the plate. The dining room was clean and pleasant. Parking was a breeze in the free parking lot. I will visit again and see if the food is better.

I ordered the spicy, shredded chicken chimichanga lunch option for $10.75. The waitor brought it out with not spicy, grilled chicken chunks instead. I didn’t complain as it tasted ok. Accidents happen and I’m wary of sending food back. When I got my check they charged me $12.75. I asked the young lady at the register about it and she said it was because I ordered grilled chicken, which I did not. She said that I didn’t get the meal for $10.75 because I ate it. I paid but told her no tip. She began yelling about it not being the waitors fault my meal was wrong. She didn’t even know if I had left a tip at the table or not at this point. I tried to calm the situation but she just kept getting louder and more upset. We will not be returning. The waitor was very kind but the cashier’s reaction was uncalled for.

As regulars, we always look forward to our visits here. From the moment we walk in, it feels like coming home. The staff makes everyone feel like family, and it’s always such a warm, welcoming atmosphere—especially for the kids. They know their names, order, and ask about things going on in school. The food is consistently amazing, with something for everyone, and the service is top-notch. Anytime we have family in from out of town, we always have dinner here. We know we will be well taken care of, even with a large group.

One of the nicest Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. Great decor. I mean really nice inside. Decent prices and lots of food for your money. Menu is bigger than most and has some dishes I’ve never seen before. 12 taps on the beer and all the tequilas your heart desires. Super friendly staff. Love this place just can’t understand how Pendleton got so lucky to get such a good Mexican place?

This is not a bad place; it’s just not great. The interior decoration and feel is the best part. The food is American Mexican. If you prefer that kind, you will like Hacienda Vieja. The salsa is good. Margaritas are ok. Guacamole not so great-a little bland. I had paella. It was good but not classic paella. Perhaps being a recent Phoenician has raised my expectation around Mexican, and locals may have a different take.

Wow! What a gem! We are here from California and wanted a restaurant for taco Tuesday! The is so nice inside and VERY clean! Our server was on point! I had the Quesabirra and hubby had the Enchilada Supreme! Both were amazing! Margaritas were quite yummy as well!

The whole place was a vibe. Was hesitate when I saw nothing but white people inside but me being from Los Angeles traveling worked the nation for work it was some of the best food I had this far east of Cali. Definitely authentic Mexican food & the atmosphere had a lot of Mexican culture from the bar to the walls top notch! Also the service was fast, friendly, & professional as it was busy.
