Reviews
I knew something was off the moment we walked in and no one greeted or seated us. We stood there waiting with no direction. That set the tone.
To make matters worse, we were quoted one price, but the receipt showed a different amount. That lack of consistency immediately raised concerns.
The food itself was okay — nothing special, nothing terrible — but certainly not worth the confusion and poor first impression. The service started off rough. Our waitress ended up being decent, but by then the experience was already heading downhill.
After getting our food and sitting down, we realized we didn’t even have forks. I had to get up and go ask for them, then wait another five minutes just to receive basic utensils. That shouldn’t happen at a buffet.
Overall, the restaurant feels very dated and poorly managed. Definitely a one-and-done spot for us. We won’t be returning.
The food selection was varied and included some unexpected offerings for a buffet setting, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the desserts were disappointing and did not meet expectations, detracting from an otherwise decent meal.
While the experience was satisfactory, I likely wouldn’t return for a second visit. That said, it could be a suitable option for families with children looking for a place where they can enjoy a variety of foods and indulge in a hearty meal. Overall, it’s worth trying out at least once, especially if you have kids in tow.
Do not go by negative reviews, that was my lesson. Maybe they had an off day? Do not know. But Im very happy I decided to try it out.
First time here and I absolutely enjoyed the food. I had the mole and rice. Some ribs and carnitas. I couldn’t eat anymore but I’ll come back to try the caldo de res and enchiladas. I had the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, delish!
All the food was tasty, warm and fresh. Staff was very attentive to the table and to the food on display.
You need to try this place for yourself!
My fist time here, I probably won’t come back. So bad San Antonio doesn’t have a lot of buffet options.
