Fabulous restaurant and hotel. We were thoroughly impressed with the service, food, ambiance. The mariachi band was phenomenal – especially loved the harp. Great wine selection, great cocktail list. The aesthetics around Catholic saints / mystics / angels were executed beautifully.

An exquisite setting with antique furniture, art and sculpture with beautiful gardens leading to the restaurant seating. The view over Banderas Bay is photo capturing. The service is excellent with a great wine list and entrées, Fernando is an excellent and caring waiter. We started our meal with a bottle of Mexican wine and the tuna tartar that was mouth watering. Asparagus soup was creamy and delicious. Main courses dishes were also very tasty. Fettuccini pasta with portobello and oyster mushrooms and Chilian Sea bass (which is the best I have ever been served). dessert was a unique Tiramisu. The wait staff was very attentive and appreciated. A mariachi band entertained the guests during the repast. Which was very well done and entertaining. Dinner ended with a glass of limoncello and black sambuca. I highly recommend this restaurant. Take an Uber or taxi up the climb is very steep.

What an amazing place to watch the sunset and enjoy a delicious meal! Everything about this restaurant was top shelf! Our waiter Raul was exceptional and provided friendly, courteous and professional service. Our food was outstanding. My husband had Shrimp Hacienda and I had the Chilean Sea Bass. The presentation was beautiful and the food tasted even better than it looked! When I made the online reservation I noted that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. They didn’t disappoint there either. The attention to detail, the atmosphere, views , service and of course the food make this an amazing dining experience.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience last night at Hacienda San Angel. Our server Raul was spectacular with service. They didn’t have lobster on the menu, but Raul was able to make it happen and got my boyfriend a lobster dinner! The food was Unbelievable!! We had coconut shrimp soup, the scallops and the tuna medallions for appetizers. Main course, lobster dinner and filet miñon, absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend this restaurant, we will be coming back. The place is beautiful and the scenery even better. Thank you Raul for your great service! See you soon!

Had an amazing dinner here with my partner to end our Puerto Vallarta vacation. The team at Hacienda San Angel was extremely accommodating, taking us in without a reservation right before close while still seeing us through all courses with the utmost care and attention. We did not stay as guests of the hotel, only visited the restaurant for dinner, but the grounds were absolutely beautiful, and the concierge gave us a bit of history on the hotel and property itself while we waited for our cab.
The food and drinks were as amazing as the service, with large portions, great taste and great presentation. The view was stunning from our table, and the live music was enjoyable and not at all too loud. Highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be looking to stay here for a future visit to PV.

My best friend and I booked a reservation here, because we wanted to have a really special meal for our last night in Puerto Vallarta. We had an incredible experience. The hotel is stunningly beautiful and the restaurant has great view of the city and Ocean. The food and service were both excellent, and we also had entertainment in the form of a live Mariachi band. It was an absolutely magical night, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting PV.
