Really great value on happy hour! We ordered the nachos mexicano with chicken and the taquitos with picadillo (this dish was especially good). Both servings sizes were large at the $9.50 price point. Plus they give you complimentary chips and salsa to start, which was tasty.
The $6.50 house margs are a good deal but not great. Drinks seemed light on the alcohol as the tequila taste was very mild and the prominent taste was a somewhat syrupy marg mix. My girlfriend ordered a pomegranate marg (which was not on happy hour) and that was especially sweet, flavor was decent but wouldn’t get again.
Note that happy hour is at the bar only. No wait around 5pm on a February Sunday, but the restaurant started to fill up shortly after.

Absolutely loveeee this spot! This is our go-to Mexican food spot in the mountains. We love celebrating any occasion here because the staff is SO friendly and upbeat, the food and drinks are always amazing and the ambiance is open and welcoming.
I usually order the enchiladas (Christmas style) and a frozen mango margarita. Don’t sleep on the frozen flavored margs – so so good.

Beautiful restaurant. A very extensive menu. I ordered the pollo a la parrilla and was given a very large portion. The salsa for the chips and salsa was also very yummy. The manager stopped at our table and was very welcoming. I’d come back here again

If you want good Mexican food, come here! Good amount of food for the price, waitstaff is friendly, the salsa is amazing and you can get a jar to go for 11 dollars. The Bloody Mary is delicious and definitely worth the 15 dollars, it is huge! Would recommend this spot to anyone I come across. My burrito was delicious and a very large portion, if I didn’t have a never ending stomach, I probably could’ve only eaten half. Again, the best place in summit county!

We deliver freight for a living and stopped in here for a late supper. We were NOT disappointed!!! The fajitas were phenomenal. We got a combination of steak, chicken & shrimp. It was seasoned well and fantastically tender and flavorful…the star of the meal was the salsa. It was so good we bought a jar to take home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Outstanding food, environment, and service! I saw they won an award for their burrito in the lobby, so I had to give it a try and ordered the carnitas (pork) and was blown away. The pork was not chopped, it was pulled and so flavorful, simply the best I’ve ever had, served piping hot. I won’t be able to order anything else here again!

We had an amazing time at this Mexican restaurant! The margaritas were absolutely fantastic — so many flavors to choose from, and each one better than the last. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even better.
Special shoutout to our server, Pascual — he was attentive, upbeat, and made sure everything was perfect.
And a word of warning: the habanero sauce is crazy hot! If you’re brave enough to try it, do so at your own risk — it’s no joke!

The food was great and the fajitas were amazing, the steak was great for the fajitas but it was in small pieces.The guacamole was great as well.The service was great and there is nothing bad about the service. Also, probably everybody there spoke spanish (at least everyone we talked to because my family speaks spanish).The atmosphere was amazing and had cool chairs and spanish signs.

They don’t take reservations. The space is huge with many large tables but they fill up pretty fast during dinner time so come early if possible!
Ordered and tried mojarra, ceviche, 7 macres, menudo. The portions are huge and the food is tasty. A little more expensive than other Mexican restaurants but I’d say it’s worth the price given the quality and quantity of each entree plus the warm and welcoming service provided by our waiter.
I recommend this place and will come again during the next ski trip.
Parking available near the restaurant. Also it’s very close to Safeway.

Love the family that operates this space and all their employees. They are a special and comforting part of our community. Excellent food and excellent service. Great margheritas too. It is a regular hang out for us and can’t imagine a better experience.
