This is my first time at a Colombian restaurant. My server Victoria took the time explain the menu and best way to order. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I sat outdoors, they have a nice set up with a view of the fire pit. For lunch, I picked two meats both delicious. The pork is served like potbelly, beef is cooked well with a nice seasoning. The portions are generous.

I got arepas to go and it had a hair. I’ve ate there before and the food is really good but after this I’m never going back again.

I went to this restaurant because I saw on Instagram a lot of videos where the food and ambiance look amazing. I came to the restaurant and I tried the “Migao Colombiano”
Chocolate mixed with cheese, cookies, waffles and Colombian Bread.
Definitely worth it! The experience and unique flavor make this place wonderful!

I’ve come here a couple times and it’s my favorite Colombian spot. The food is probably the closest thing I’ll get to being back home in Colombia. Sergio, our server, was really kind and attentive. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Great experience, first time visiting Hacienda. Sergio was very friendly and welcoming and excited to help us find menu items that met each of our preferences. We all commented that his enthusiasm was contagious. The pancakes were second to none. You must try them. We had Arepas, pork belly and a few other authentic Colombian dishes that were each memorable and delightful. I will certainly be back next time I find myself near this hidden gem in Alum Rock San Jose.

Excellent food and service was second to none! The restaurant itself is beautiful and clean. The food was delicious. I tried a couple of things I’d never had before including the queen arepa and guava and cheese appetizer. Both were so good! The portion size was generous, too!

I was really hoping to like this place. My husband I drove up to San Jose (2.5 hours) to have a Colombian day. We hit up a couple Colombian restaurants. One for lunch, a bakery’s and This spot is what we chose for dinner. We order Chicharon and the fried fish two of my faves from Colombia. The chicharon was over cooked or recooked to the point of it being to dry to chew. I did like the dipping sauce, had a little kick to it. The fish had a burnt taste to it and didn’t have any flavor. We tried to finish as much as we could out of respect and not to waste the food but I left that to my husband lol. Maybe Saturday or Sundays are better but Friday was not it. We were also the only ones in there for dinner on a Friday night.
