I don’t understand why Hacienda is only rated 3.9 stars. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. So often at Mexican restaurants the food is bland and uninspired. To begin, the chips and salsa we were given after being seated were great. In my experience, the complimentary salsa at Mexican restaurants is boring and simply something to pacify guests. However, both the spicy and mild salsas were flavorful and unique. We ordered some nachos and the spinach enchiladas. Both dishes were crafted with care and really impressive. We were so satisfied with both plates. Well done to the team here! Keep up the great work

It was meh, so so. Went with some friends, the host and the servers were nice but they weren’t overly hospitable. The portions were decent, but the side of beans and rice was almost bigger that the entree itself. I also found a long hair in my food but I just ate it anyway because I was too hungry to care. I would recommend Tacos Cancun for a better dining experience and more authentic food

Haven’t tried them before, so thought I’d give them a shot. I’m a cheese enchilada person so I gave theirs a try. To my delight, they were extra cheesy with lots of red sauce. The beans and rice with them weren’t too bad either. Definitely will come here again for the enchiladas.

Service is one of the best. However, something is lacking to be a 5 star. Food is kinda good. Maybe being a Mexican, it wasn’t as good as other mexican restaurants. OVERALL I think it is good, if you like classic American Mexican food it is good. But it is not the authentic Mexican.

Absolutely love this place ! We always get Laura as our waitress (we may come here too often haha) but she always has a coke & Diet Coke ready as soon as we sit down! Amazing atmosphere, incredible food, & super nice people. Some times busy but never too loud, can always enjoy the nice music & the chips & salsa are amazing! 10/10 :))

I was very disappointed when Hacienda Mexican restaurant Wasilla location would not make a very small exception for a special needs handicapped women I take care of in her home. This woman happens to be dying from cancer and is bedridden. She barely eats anything but requested some Mexican food today and I told her I had a coupon for Hacienda Mexican restaurant. She was happy to hear that because she has a small budget to work with. When I called to place the pick up order and said I had a coupon I was told coupons were only good when dining in the restaurant. I explained that was not possible as my client is bedridden and I asked them if they could make an exception. I spoke with the manager her name was Amanda. She told me no she would not make an exception. I could see that maybe she didn’t believe my story so I offered to show her proof of my clients condition and she still refused to honor the coupon unless we dined in the restaurant. Honestly I don’t know what difference it makes where we eat the food we are still paying the same price not asking for a free meal just that we be allowed to pick up the food so I could take it to my client and feed it to her in her bed. The manager Amanda told me she would not do it because if they made an exception for me than they would have to make an exception for everyone. I said not everyone has an extraordinary medical condition leaving them bedridden and confined to their home. Manager Amanda said we could still place the pick up order but she would not honor the coupon for us. I said no thank you we will spend our money somewhere else. So that is what we did we ordered from another local Mexican restaurant and we hope others will do this as well. As it seems Hacienda Mexican restaurant in Wasilla is just thinking about money and not the needs of their customers who keep their business alive.

This place is growing on me again. The Combo Fajitas, Halibut Tacos and flan were great. They are very Ameri-Mex, but I’ll take it. As usual, they were very gluten free friendly for the wife.

This is been about the third time I’ve been dissatisfied with the food here been coming here for years and I won’t be coming back. Ordered a 12 oz steak medium it pretty much came back Raw it was tough and grisly. For over $24 you better be serving a good cut of meat and know how to cook it.

They’ve got great food. I just hate that they started putting lettuce under their large guacamole to make it look like it’s more. Next time I’ll ask them to remove the lettuce. If we are paying for a large then we should get a large not added shrubbery to cut portions.
