I live in Louisiana and came down there to visit family my daughter and I stopped to have lunch with that being my favorite restaurant and Louisiana don’t have any Haciendas and the food was great as usual. The one place that hasn’t changed the taste of there food. It was awesome.

Been eating at almost every local Hacienda since I was 7, and I’m 28 now! I still love it, and I come to this particular location the most. The food has never changed, it’s always absolutely phenomenal and not super expensive either. The chips and ranch is an ultimate favorite that has never been beat by any other appetizer, anywhere. This is also the only restaurant that EVER makes me a Mojito!! No other restaurant ever has them. The waiting staff is always super friendly and it makes for an even better experience, honestly. All in all I will forever dine here whenever I get the chance 🙂

There was a hair in my wife’s chick on the beach. It was black and curly, and definitely not hers. She gave it disgustingly to the waitress, but was nice about it. The waitress said we will remake it and brought another one out. Everybody at the table lost our appetite because of this hair and we still ended up having to pay for everything. Normal guidelines of a restaurant is if you mess up, you take the dish off and ask if you can get them anything else or what you can do. We still had to pay for it! When the manager delivered the second chick on the beach, she just asked if she wanted to keep her tortillas. Not apologizing or anything. It’s disgusting to know at a place like this they don’t have better service.

I’ll get to the manager Collin in a minute. We had the best server, her name is Rachel W (I asked if she was the only Rachel and she said no so I asked the letter of her last name). She greeted us with a smile the whole time, made sure we had chips when we ran out and refills, very helpful and helpful. Thank you Rachel W for your service. Now, I ordered a chicken, cheese and spinach quesadilla. When it arrived it hardly had any cheese on it. I asked Rachel of I could have more cheese on it. She let her manager Collin know my complaint. He brings it out and says ” here is your quesadilla with extra cheese, no apology but rude tone. When the bill came I noticed $1.99 charge for the “extra cheese”. I told him I wasn’t paying the extra since it only had a tiny bit of cheese on it in the first place. He says “that’s the amount of cheese our quesadillas come with”. I posted a couple of pics with “extra cheese” which wasn’t extra cheese, just the amount that a quesadilla would have. I told him that was fine and he lost a customer and he said “that’s fine”. I also told him I would be leaving a negative review on him and he said that’s fine my name is Collin and he walked away. Wow, I think he needs to go back to training on what a manager should be like because he definitely does not have the personality or customer service. Rachel got a huge tip from because she definitely knows how to treat people and maybe they should put her in management. Again Rachel thank you so much for your kindness, professionalism and all you did.

Delicious strawberry margarita! Free chips and salsa was welcomed at the table, but the salsa was meh. The entrees came quickly and were served hot and tasted good. Service was not lacking, but brought a carafe of margaritas when we ordered a mug. Not sure how that was mis-heard, but since it was so good we shared it with the four adults at the table.

We were grateful at the door by a very fun and uplifting hostess and were seated right away. Our waitress came to service within seconds and she was week was very well spirited.
Everything was brought to us as ordered and very good tasting. We have always been happy with the food here.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here, but unfortunately, this Mexican restaurant fell short of expectations. The food was disappointing and tasted more American than Mexican. The salsa tasted like tomato paste. Despite this, the restaurant’s busy atmosphere suggests it remains a popular choice, perhaps due to a lack of alternatives in the area.
Our service experience was also problematic. The waiter offered sour cream with every meal but never mentioned there would be an additional charge. We were also overcharged for an extra drink and the advertised discounts weren’t applied to the daily specials we ordered.
It seems we, like many others, chose this restaurant due to limited options.

Honestly just not a fan on Hacienda. Years and years ago the food was edible and good. IMO the food is now mediocre and I just dont want to spend my money on something I know isn’t that good.
I guess depending on the location and when you’re going will determine your service. I’ve been with really good service and some pretty crappy service.

We are LONG TIME customers of several Hacienda locations, and this visit was beyond disappointing. To summarize, the food was not prepared correctly, cold meat on the taco salad and hot burrito was room temp. We ordered 1 shot each for our group for a special occasion and an hour later the server had to be reminded and had to ask us again what kind. Could not get refills, a glass of tea had something floating in it, etc. We may have to find a new meeting place when we visit from Pittsburgh!
