This was previously a decent review, but I’m editing it to reflect the way things are now.
First off, this place is hardly ever open; super inconsistent, which is annoying. The prices are also inconsistent, presumably depending on who is working and perhaps their mood that day (whether they decide to charge you .75 or whatever for tiny salsas, which is greedy as hell…). This has always made going there a bit stressful and kind of annoying.
Which brings me to my main point. It’s way too expensive for what it is, which is, let’s face it, mediocre. I’m a mexican food freak; I’ve been to every place in a huge radius. It ain’t great. There are a myriad of better options.
I showed up the other day, surprised they were open. They handed me the food and told me it was now 25$ for a shrimp burrito and a side of beans (from a can, mind you). She said they had raised their prices yet again, when it was already too much to begin with.

This truck is excellent in their offerings, quality, service, and expediency. Every once in a while I’m craving a bunch of tacos and this always does it for me. My only challenge here is that it’s hit and miss sometimes when they’re open or not. When they’re not, I just find something else besides tacos as no one else in town is better. The habenero sauce is excellent.
