I usually don’t leave reviews but I feel I seriously got ripped off. I used to eat here once a week when I worked out here because it was decent. Ordered this quesadilla plate today because I was in town and this meal you see here was $23. No drink, no chips and salsa, just this plate. I can go eat salt grass steak and meal for that price. Won’t be coming back.

While driving to Eagle Pass, I stopped in for some breakfast and was not disappointed. Seated quickly and welcomed as soon as I walked into the door. Very comfortable feeling when I walked in. Food was served quickly and at perfect temperature! I had stopped in before, but this time, I needed to let others who don’t know about this great little stop! I’ll definitely remember this as I travel down 35 South. Thank you!

This was our first time eating here, and I have to say that the food was amazing. The tea was excellent, and the staff was great. The building was clean, and the ladies maintained cleanliness throughout our visit. We have an autistic son, and the staff was wonderful with him—they acknowledged him, talked to him, and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!

We order tacos & when we get home we see they are like this. Not much chorrizo & no onions or bell peppers in the beef fajita taco. No problem, we just want our tacos fixed. I call and tell them about it and they said “That’s just the way they come and the beef fajita taco doesn’t come with onions and bell peppers. You have to ask for that and it’s a charge” I tell them that I’ll just get a refund and take everything back since they didn’t want to try and fix our order. They say,”No you can’t bring them back and get a refund.” That’s that we didn’t even eat the tacos or drink our sodas. They literally had no good customer service and were really rude about it. I had to tell them 3 times I am not paying for this until they finally said okay and gave me my money back. They didn’t apologize or try to be understanding. The manager was just laughing and did not care. They did this to another lady as well. Please don’t go to this place. Waste of time and not worth the money at all. I really wish I could give this place 0 stars.

Waitress was too busy on her phone to even give us a the time of day, food is extremely expensive and bland. Charge for a tea, and the styrofoam cup it was served in, charged for chips and salsa, highly disappointed.

This review is a response to a recent review from a person who goes as “Angel Elias”, who is unsatisfied with the quality of sauces serve to her and previous meat she ate.
First things first, I am sure they manage their food property, as they have taken the required courses. I know that because if you enter and take your time to look, they have it on display. The manager is educated and inspectors clearly haven’t had an issue with how they store food as if they did they would’ve shut the place down temporarily or permanently. Texas doesn’t play when it comes to business and management. Let’s also acknowledge that mistakes CAN happen when serving food but it can also be an issue due to the customer handing food without proper care regarding temperature. Sometimes we as consumers feel unsatisfied with what we’re given, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s expired food. For the sauce issue, it is true maybe the sauce was bad, but let’s not forget to take into consideration the temperature of the food and of wherever you had it once you received your food from staff. Sauces are rather sensitive to temperature and can quickly get a bad odor if next to hot food, which in this case could’ve been the tacos.
I’ve had tacos from this restaurant hundreds of times (ex worker) and I love eating them with the red salsa. I handle my food with care, which prevents the likelihood of it going bad quickly. If you are worried about the odor coming from your salsa make sure you keep it stored at an appropriate temperature! It helps a lot to do that. Naturally it isn’t always preventable, so take into consideration the distance from your destination and the place you got your food from when you’re ordering. ↕️
And regarding the manager issue angel Elias mentioned, that is a very blunt lie. The manager is always in the restaurant, you can verify with other customers there! you can ask any staff and they’ll tell you whether she is there or not. You may come across she isn’t truly there, but staff won’t lie to you about whether a manager is present or not. After all they don’t benefit from that. Talking as someone who has worked here at some point, This restaurant tends to customers and their complaints immediately. While working there I never saw them lie saying the manager was absent. I’ve even translated to help the customer out.
