I went here on a date with someone very special and they gave us a perfect table The music was wonderful the atmosphere was very romantic The food was absolutely perfect My date had the steak fajitas They came out in a hot mocahete’. I had the chicken tostada and steak chimichanga everything was cooked to perfection and when they saw our chemistry they gave us the dessert and the house It was absolutely amazing They made our date even better. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for good food here in Mount Prospect or anywhere in the surrounding land area. The waiters were kind and patient It very knowledgeable about the menu.

My husband and I have not been there in years simply because two Mexican restaurants are closer to our home. We wish we would’ve come years ago. We would’ve made this our favorite Mexican spot. I’m very particular about chips and salsa’s, atmosphere and parking. This place has it all – plenty of parking, great, well lit atmosphere, excellent salsa and chips, good margaritas, and delicious food. The staff is excellent!! They are very attentive and come to your table often to make sure that you have everything you need, you’re happy with the food, and to keep you aware of when your food’s coming. Probably the most attentive restaurant I’ve ever been in. My husband and I dine a minimum of once a week. We definitely will be coming back more often on a very regular basis. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in a fun atmosphere this is the place to go!!

We came here for lunch with three toddler boys and genuinely enjoyed the food. Everything was going well until after we paid the bill.
Once my friend had already walked to her car, an employee/owner ran after her and accused her of stealing a candle from the table. She denied it, and he then asked her to call me so he could also accuse me over the phone. We both clearly stated we did not take anything. Despite that, he insisted the candle was on the table before we sat down and said he would “check the cameras,” continuing to imply one of us stole it.
Later, my friend called the restaurant and was told the candle was found under the table.
This situation was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Accusing paying customers especially parents dining with small children of stealing a candle before even checking under the table is unacceptable. Even if a child had moved it, making such a big deal over a candle and confronting customers in the parking lot was completely unnecessary.
Good food does not excuse poor customer service. This experience left a very bad impression, and it could have been easily avoided with basic professionalism and common sense.

Incredible food and incredible service! I was so excited to be able to order menudo soup on a Monday afternoon, and it was delicious! My friend let try her chile relleno and it was also delicious! They were so kind and tolerant of our very excited children and made us feel at home.
Bonus points for beautiful holiday decor! We will definitely be back!

I recently tried out this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout our meal.
While the complimentary chips and salsa were just okay, we decided to try their hot salsas upon a recommendation, and they were much better! The spiciness added a nice kick to our meal.
One thing that stood out was the portion sizes – they were huge! We ordered the vegetarian combination plate, which came with a chimichanga, tostada, enchiladas, rice, and beans. Everything was delicious, especially the chimichanga.
My friend opted for the chicken enchiladas plate, and she also enjoyed her meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

Really yummy spot. Great friendly service. Very clean, you can tell they really take pride in their restaurant, such cute decor. My friend picked this spot for lunch and it was great. I had the molcajete fajitas, so delicious!! And even the next day, they tasted amazing. My friend is vegetarian, and what I notice from other spots, this place offered Spinach enchiladas & burritos, instead of just cheese. She really liked them. So that was cool.
For you mezcal drinkers, they have it here. I know that is currently not being served everywhere, but this spot has it.
I really want to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend this spot.
