Such a great spot and easily one of the most underrated restaurants at the Sponge Docks. We ordered the fajitas for two, and everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. For dessert, we had the churros. Perfect way to end the meal. This place is a true hidden gem and definitely worth checking out.

Hidden gem! Was enjoying my cute margarita so much I forgot to take pictures of my food, but the fajitas are the best around! Large portions and delicious flavor!

We ordered from doordash and got our food really quick and everything was cold. Not just cold on on the outside but you can stick your finger inside and feel the chill. it’s like it almost just pulled it out of the refrigerator and warmed it up in the microwave, then sent it out. This place is not very far from my house and it didn’t take very long to get here so it’s not the driver’s fault. I would avoid this place because it looks like they cut a lot of corners and do not use quality ingredients.

An incredible array of Mexican favorites with plenty of options for people with dairy and gluten allergies. Their steak tacos and green sauce are perfect. Give the carne asada a try!

Really enjoyed the food. The service is a bit iffy. Not well trained, to say the least, but very friendly!
I had a chili relleno, beef enchiladas, and a bean burrito. (3 item combo $13.99) Came with rice and beans. Everything was very tasty and I will order again!
I also had a top shelf margarita ($11). Best in town!
I didn’t order, but saw at another table, their guacamole. It was spectacular looking! Will definitely order that next time!
If you haven’t tried this place out, try it! I’ll definitely be back!

I would love to know the hours on this place. I showed up at 4:30, had to street park down the road and double checked their hours online before showing up.
No one was there. Tried both doors. I really wanted to give it a shot because I eat sushi across the street once every couple weeks.
Not sure if I’m missing something but I showed up and all the doors were locked.

There was practically no wait for a dinner table, which in most cases would be a good thing. But after today’s experience I’m not surprised as to why it’s not busy. We were the only ones being served, and even then the food took way too long to be served. Most plates came with a disappointing, dry, and thin serving of meat… but by the point of being served our food, it was mostly cold. We were given the excuse that the Churrasco cut usually comes hard to chew. I seldom leave negative reviews since I am not a picky person but I sincerely left disappointed of this restaurant representing Mexican cuisine in Tarpon Springs.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best Mexican Food I’ve Ever Had
Hacienda is authentic Mexican at its finest. The food is insanely good, the service is friendly and fast, and the prices are almost too good to be true. I live in the Washington D.C. area and would drive all the way to Clearwater just to eat here again. 100% worth the trip

So good! The fajitas were excellent and generously portioned. The enchiladas were good, but plane. The rice was also plane, but buttery. The churros were nice and crunchy on the outside; soft on the inside. They were loaded with cinnamon and sugar. We ate on their outdoor seating area. So so so good. Since this restaurant is located at the Sponge Docks, you do have to park elsewhere and walk over.

My wife and I decided to go down to the sponge docks to walk around and grab a small bite to eat. We neither had any idea this place was here until we parked on a side road. We were both extremely happy that we parked down there as it brought us here.
We decided to try it out instead of the usual down there. Extremely friendly employees. We looked at the menu and decided on a blood orange margarita and a watermelon margarita. Let me tell you, those are both phenomenal. Real fruit in both, perfect balance of tequila and flavoring. Strong enough to enjoy and have just one and still be safe.
The service was excellent. Friendly, several check-ins and helpful.
We ordered the Nachos Supreme and the Empanadas. Upon arriving to the table it was clear that we made the right decision. The flavors blended so well and couldn’t have been combined any better. The guacamole and queso kicked it over the top. The empanadas were the best I’ve ever had. Clearly made with quality ingredients and care.
Lastly we had the house made churros. Oh my goodness, truly a delight!
I will absolutely go back many times. I encourage everyone that is going to the docks to break free and go down to try it. You won’t be let down.
