If you want authentic Puerto Rican food, you gotta try Coqui!
Food was good and I really loved the empanadas, they were a desert kind with fruit filling and cream cheese.
The owner was super kind. They have regular meals and also a “fit” menu!

We walked into this restaurant eager to experience the flavors of Puerto Rican cuisine, and we weren’t disappointed. The establishment was impeccably clean, with tasteful decor that set a welcoming ambiance. The music added to the enjoyable atmosphere, creating a perfect backdrop for our meal.

I had a great overall lunch experience and plan to return to try breakfast/brunch soon. The food and service were both great. I haven’t had puertorican food since moving to the Valley many years ago. I was excited to give this spot a try and I wasn’t disappointed.
I had the mofongo con carne frita. It was cooked just right and well-presented. The portion size was satisfying. I enjoyed the side salad with strawberry and grape. It paired well.
I also had the flan for dessert and it was delicious. I gobbled it down before I could snap a photo.
I appreciated the service. Not only was my server friendly and attentive, other staff from the back of the house also came out to make sure I was enjoying the food.
I will be back.

Excellent experience. Food was great. Limited menu (for now), however owner explained plans to increase menu option and hours of operation soon. Owner seems very invested in restaurant. Must visit place for Puertorrican food. And yes, restaurant offers mofongo

We loved the food, we could taste the flavors of the island. We had the mofongo, aguacate relleno de pollo, and we also tried the plantain soup. Menu is limited right now, but they shared they are expanding the menu and we are looking forward to their additions! Service was great, they were attentive and we were served fairly quickly. Overall a great experience and so happy to have another spot to eat some good Puerto Rican food. We hope to come back soon!

Good food, owner was cool, food definitely brings me back to the island, it’s centrally located off of 10th near pecan so it’s easy to get to. Their empanadas are amazing, can’t go wrong. I hope he continues to thrive and stay for the long term.
