What a pleasant surprise! We had an excellent dining experience here. The sushi is outstanding, made with super fresh fish and perfectly prepared rolls. Everything tasted fresh and high-quality.
We were also positively surprised by the Thai dishes, which were full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. It’s great that the restaurant offers more than just sushi, and that these additional dishes are just as good.
Overall, the quality exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended if you’re in Cologne and looking for great sushi and delicious Asian cuisine. We would definitely come back!

Pretty decent sushi. They even have Gluten Free soy sauce / tamari. Their menu did not have the most accurate labels for GF foods (some items that clearly have wheat, like ramen noodles or teriyaki, did not have the gluten marker). Simple maki and nigiri felt like the safest option for me.

Had a great time coming here! We ordered multiple rolls which were all super delicious! The salmon sashimi was also to die for! Will definitely be coming back here anytime I’m in Köln. The people were super nice and we even talked to them about our city, vacation and other things. I was even allowed to film in their restaurant and there was this super cool motorbike in the window that one of the chefs talked to me about. They were super welcoming and nice. And I even got a gift at the end!

I was in town for one night and fancied some Japanese food – Hachiko did not disappoint. I got some edamame, gyoza, Mr. Tuna crunchy roll, and a couple of beers for €33. Friendly helpful staff (who also speak English) served everything up quickly and the food tasted great, I’d not had a deep fried roll before but it was delicious. I would go again.

Great Sushi place in downtown Köln. The place is a big small, but it is more than worth to eat here. The sushi tastes great and prices are reasonable. Fully recommended!!!

This was Asian food adapted for western taste: the salmon sashimi was not fresh and the Maguro don did not state that it was cooked to death on the menu. There was teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise on everything which made everything unhealthy and too sweet. Pad Thai was overcooked to death and again too sweet. Skip this if you’re Asian and you like authentic food.
The two stars are for the nice waitress and the rice. Everything else was bad and we were so disappointed looking at the great reviews given by others
