Went on a quiet Thursday with a friend who loves sushi and wanted to try the omakase. Turns out the reviews were too good to be true. I really wanted to like it however almost every dish was disappointing. The first dish for example was just sour on sour on sour. Like they sliced a whole pickle thinly, poured some fresh vinegar, and served it with a slice of lemon. A majority of the nigiri were forgettable or worse, the clams were too salty and or gritty for me, the uni was a major let down and had a rough aftertaste and dessert was not to my taste (looked like ice cream but tasted like mung bean cake or sorts). The service was great although it was also a pretty slow night with 2 other tables occupied other than us.

I ordered the California roll and Shrimp Tempura roll, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were super fresh, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp was crispy and flavorful—just the way I like it.
The service was excellent too! They even added a semi-personalized touch, which really made the experience feel special. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers.

Came to enjoy their omakase 10 along with a few other items. Everything was delicious! The fish was very fresh and prepared I. A flavorful way. They were still in their soft opening phase (I think today is Day 4) and thought they did a great job! The restaurant is brand new, the AC was cold and the service was excellent. We felt attended to and pace was perfect. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back again.

FANTASTIC sushi here in Frisco, my family loved the fresh taste and the enthusiastic staff. There is a wonderful blend of unique dishes, like their truffle salmon, as well as sushi staples, like the classic salmon avocado roll. This was from our first visit to Hachi, and so we were excited to try everything. All the dishes we ordered were delicious in their own way, and were up to Japanese standard quality. The staff was really helpful in helping us choose dishes based on what we told them we might like, and were patient and friendly. Coming back to Hachi is a easy decision, and I am super excited to try the rest of the menu!

I had the pleasure of dining here on a work trip alone over my birthday, and the 5 star reviews don’t lie! I was guided through an exceptional omakase experience. Every single piece of fish was fresh and delicious. If I could do it all over again I would order the wagyu dumplings, miso soup, 10 piece omakase, a king salmon hand roll, and probably try a specialty roll. 10/10 and will definitely go again!
