So I’m in town for work and was looking for a restaurant to eat so this popped up, i saw it was one of those trucks and not a real sit down restaurant but still I gave it a chance. The food was delicious and the portion was a great size , so glad o picked this spot and recommend to everyone.

While a plate may be $15, it’s loaded with food. So much that my kid and I share a plate. We like to get the shrimp and steak combo. They cook the steak to how we like it, and the shrimp are large and well seasoned. The saute vegetables are perfectly tender and go so well with the insane amount of fried rice. Every bite is delicious. We love to cover it all in the (rightly)named YumYum sauce. They are usually really quick to have your order ready, so even if you walk up, you aren’t waiting long.

We came in from out of town and this was recommended.
The good I will say the prices were pretty good, and the portions were awesome, was a good amount of food for the money. The people were very nice, and the service was pretty quick.
But, in all honesty, the flavor was very bland and overall was not very good. The YUM sauce they had was the saving grace, the food was good with that on it, but without the sauce, not all that.

Stopped today from out of town prices aren’t bad portion was fair. BUT the flavor wasn’t there steak under seasoned veggies were burnt shrimp was dry and tasted like the grill and the chicken was the worst it was dry like they let sit in the sun still for a reasonable price I expected a good fair meal it would’ve been cheaper at McDonald’s and tasted better I still have that burnt taste in my mouth like charcoal taste

Oh boy! Spoiler alert, I have nothing but good things to say about this place! It’s an unassuming food truck, but WOW are there some talented staff serving this food!!
Excellent pricing. Most of the dishes are just under 10 bucks before tax. Excellent portions too!! The dishes are served in styrofoam containers, and every dish I’ve ordered has been nearly filled to the brim with rice, veggies and meat! Especially the rice… you would not be wrong to say that the rice served is disproportionate to the meat and veggies – but this is not an issue with the amount of meat and veggies served, but rather that you just get a lot of rice!
Hachi Hachi does have a limited selection of dishes, but I promise that you’ll be pleased with what they do have!! Delicious food, low prices, big portions, and about 10 minutes wait time. Highly recommended!!

I am never disappointed here! Absolutely love the food every single time we get it. The plate is about 10 bucks but ITS LOADED WITH FOOD, despite these other reviewers. I have two toddlers and I share my plate with them everytime. You won’t regret trying it!
