Ordered a breakfast burrito to go. Veggies were undercooked. Chunks of bacon and lots of fat. Early morning, and it was super loud and uncomfortable metal atmosphere. Looked clean. However probably will not return.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. The food was WONDERFUL. Most of Oregon is a food desert but this place is a beacon of deliciousness. We tried most of the menu, al pastor, carnitas, mushroom, rock fish& sweet potato tacos, pastor burrito, and quesadilla. The food was as authentic as you can find here. Staff were professional and patient while our kids decided and asked a billion questions. Food came to our table quickly and was very fresh. There was even an enclosed outdoor space so our dogs could be with us. We’ll definitely make this one of our go to’s in Bend.

I used to love eating at Hablo Tacos and I was excited to take my family here when they were visiting. I was really disappointed with our visit. The menu changed and they no longer make their smokey mushroom tacos vegan. Not only that but we ordered salsa and guac and both came out with what looked like cheap Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. I had to send it back because I don’t do dairy and no where on the menu did it state that there was cheese on it. I was told they got a new chef and apparently sprinkling cheese on top “makes it fancy.”
We ordered food and my tacos were doused in so much liquid that the tortillas fell apart and I had to use a fork to eat it. Not only that but there was more purple cabbage on my taco than actual sweet potato and salsa. I ended up just making something for myself at home after because there was barely anything to eat in my taco other than purple cabbage.
The waitress was very nice and did a great job and we enjoyed the margarita pitcher. However, until Hablo Tacos returns to the quality they used to have, unfortunately we will not be returning.

I had the chicken al pastor. Not as good as the chicken tinga I’ve had in the past. Big thumbs up for the salsa bar. Mushroom taco great. Loved the quacamole also.

I was surprised by the fish taco. I ended up ordering another when I brought my wife here. The carnitas was good but not really fried. The barbicoa was good as well. Tacos had a good amount of protein. Bean dip needed some salsa to flavor it up. Staff was friendly. Even added extra cheese on my kids taco.

It’s sad to see where Hablo is going. I used to love this place and have been going constantly for the last 4 years. The food has always been amazing and my family and I loved it. However, the last handful of times I’ve gone the last year it gets worse and worse. Consistently. The most recent time marked the last time I’ll be returning. The food was tasty, but their menu is always out of stuff, never constant. They forgot items and modifications to our food despite specific request and gave us our food to go rather than for here. We sat outside and it was littered with food. The tables and the floor both. The water was totally empty and they didn’t have any cups. Again, in the past, the place has been the best, but every time for the last year it’s just gone downhill and now it’s just worth it. Sorry Hablo, you will be missed.

I was craving some real Al Pastor tacos (only place in town who does them the authentic way, or did.) and was also was interested in trying their Baja style rockfish taco.
All three tacos I ordered came out cold and soggy. Bland protein flavors with very little spice or seasoning. Also smaller portions than last time! Too many raw onions destroyed any flavor that may have been there underneath all the toppings . The Al Pastor was actually very sweet if anything, maybe the pineapple? However it wasn’t at all balanced and was off putting . Really disappointed in this lunch experience especially since I drove across town in traffic to come back for another try.
Also worth mentioning that their menu prices on Google were lower than the prices in person. Bait and switch kinda joint! So many better places to get Mexican in town! No wonder these business owners are shutting down Nome, this place will be next. Cutting corners and expecting customers not to notice never works well as business model…

Ordered a burrito and it had more tortilla than it did filling. I literally tore half of the tortilla off before I would eat it because it was empty. There was maybe 1/3 the amount of meat that should’ve been in a asada burrito. For $20 including the tip, I shouldn’t have to go somewhere else to have the rest of my lunch

Update 10/2023. Still new and awesome. The enclosed outdoor area is great and just warm enough during cold times to wear a light jacket.
Very cool spot that is family friendly with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Tacos have fun flair and are fresh made. Nice selection of margaritas and authentic mixed drinks. Mexican beers. Food was great and perhaps a new favorite. Service was fast and friendly. Plan to wait in line for food, but it goes fast. Centrally located with other restaurants and treats.
