I come here almost every week. The burgers are fine, but the sweet potato sometimes is not that great! It looks like they cleaned the last few scraps from their pan and served you. Please don’t go cheap on your loyal customers!

Great experience. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful.
I accidentally left my wallet here, and they kept it safe for me.
I really appreciate their honesty and help!

Meets expectations for fast food. Pleasanton location’s service and food prep is much superior to the San Ramon location. I would return to Pleasanton, San Ramon not.
Adding bacon to a burger costs $2 more….a pound of bacon costs $4-$6.

Nice place, nice ambience, nice food. Not the best burger I have ever had but decent enough. We really liked the impossible meat burger. It was better than the usual vegetarian option. We tried both veg burger options and both were decent.

When i tried to call i was connected to an AI bot that just would not let me speak to a representative. This is EXTREMELY poor customer service. How can NO option get me a representative?

Let me tell you why this place gets one star all across! Since they started charging 66 cents for extra “sauce”, this is absolutely the last time we set foot in any habit burger! Pathetic, really.

Charged Again for Sauce I Already Paid For
Habit Burger & Grill

I visited your location today and ordered a Santa Barbara Char Meal, and I included ranch sauce with my order. I was charged $0.66 for the sauce, which was correctly included in my order total of $19.06.

However, when I asked the cashier for the ranch sauce at pick-up, they told me I had to pay an additional $0.66, even though I had already paid for it. I explained that it was part of my original order, but they still insisted I pay again, which was frustrating and disappointing.

I would appreciate it if you could review this and ensure your staff is aware when a customer has already paid for add-ons like sauces. I love your food, but experiences like this make it feel unfair

REVIEW EDIT: original review is for Castro Valley location, as that was my last location visited. Pleasanton/Bernal was quite awhile ago. At Pleasanton, the cashier was was very confused with accepting the No Kid Hungry card value for ANY menu item, she thought it ONLY applied to the Original Char with Cheese, no read the fine print. Then they served tasteless soft serve ice cream. I pointed this out and the staffer tried it and agreed; it was a hot day, I wanted something cold, I ate it regardless. Must have left out a flavoring, like the vanilla and sweetener, as it tasted like frozen milk. Sandwiches are always good, despite service issues.

Original review: for Castro Valley location: good food offerings but doesn’t quite seem to be made as well as Dublin’s location, not as fresh (their timing of sides and sandwiches prep do not match) and the guest service not quite up to par either, thus 4 stars. At Dublin, staff walked around asking each guest how they’re doing. That did not happen at Castro Valley.
