When they first opened in 2015, I swore never to come back after they made me wait 45 minutes for a cheese burger. There was a 10 minute wait tonight at 9:30pm. That is acceptable. The Gotta Habit $8 meal was decent. It was half of a chicken club sandwich, tempura green beans and a drink. The two unsweetened ice-teas were not available. They are supposed to close at 10:30pm. The staff has already put the chairs above the tables at 10pm not letting customers sit at tables. Some booths were available. The restaurant was clean and I didn’t have to deal with the staff much since I ordered from the kiosk.

I have been here many times, usually when I am craving a burger or when I need a quick bite. Upon arrival, you can smell the char smoke from the kitchen in the parking lot where that usually makes me a bit more hungry by expanding my appetite. Their menu consists of their famous charbroiled burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, shakes, drinks, etc. Everything is made to order just the way I like it and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. The staffs here are welcoming, well trained and understanding. You get a buzzer with a number on it after your order has been placed, which I think is good, because times it can be packed inside and I will wait in my car instead. They have interior dine in, booth seating, or you can enjoy your meal at the outdoor patio. I highly recommend this place to all burger enthusiasts, if you are looking to try something new or if you are on a limited time. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Another consistent, clean Habit location. Solid burger for the price. Enjoyed the chicken club because the sourdough toast really makes any of the sandwiches better. The Santa Barbara Char is the best item menu in my opinion and all the sides including the salads are great.

Habit sell comfort food. When you are in a hurry this a good place to go. There hamburger are acceptable and their chicken sandwich is also good.

Let’s get right into it. It’s been a minute but trust me, I’ve been working and have been preparing my palet for more meals. The kids at the camp I work at are crazy, but in a kid and innocent way. It’s funny,. I’m leaving to college in a bit so that’s also pretty cool. We have the habit burger. I used to go here as a kid because they gave me gummies. They did not give me gummies today. It’s alright because I am no longer a kid. I got the Santa Barbara. I believe the habit has some origins in Santa Barbara. No clue I could be wrong. It was interesting. I definitely liked everything inside the sandwich or whatever you call it. It tasted like a burger, I liked the freshness the veggies and avocado added. I thought the bread was not super soft and hard; it hurt my mouth a little. The tempura green beans were great. It had great flavors, salty, crunchy, and the tempura flavor and green bean flavor works well together. Service was alright, it was just slow. Probably I was there during rush hour. The atmosphere was also average, it was clean which is nice. Overall, it’s a great fast food chain and I’m pleased with the experience. I will give it a 5.8 out of 10 so that’s about 3 stars. I’m going to a nice sushi restaurant in a few days so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Hamburgers are undercooked with pink strip in middle. Does not have any char flavor or any other flavor. We wasted half the food. Probably will not come back.

Let me start by saying they have a good menu. The food is good. Also, the people in the front always look upset. Or maybe they are too stressed. But last thing i want to mention is to please book a PEST control visit. Because everytime i go there i see ANTS everywhere, both dining area and bathroom.

I realized that advertising is to be taken with a grain of salt. Ya safe to say no lines at this place like all in and outs….I was hoping for a burger that was mind-blowing to the point of a revisit. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the taste. It reminded me of a BK spin of. I’ll go back to the tried and true In and Out.

I was told that the only burger i order here for years now… is completely off the menu. I do not eat beef and the impossible patties were perfect. Now all they offer is a pathetic veggie patty which is not comparable in flavor or if you’re actually craving a substantial burger replicated.

Great burgers. Santa Barbara Char is my go to. That alone would bring me back but the sides they offer truly make this chain unique. Tempura Green Beans are delish and a tiny bit healthy . Always friendly and you wait because the food is cooked fresh. The best!
