The food is delicious as always. The cashier went out of her way and brought our order to our table! That’s a first for me at the Habit. Also, my 1st time at this location. The restaurant is a bit cozy. However, that did not take away from the experience. Those cheesy street corn tots are very tasty.

Usually this Habit burger is good but tonight was an exception. The order was late and quality was subpar. My guess is it’s a busy Saturday night issue. We ordered online in order to save time. We arrived and waited. Online it said ready at 5:34. It was about 20 minutes late. They don’t have cashiers any more and the staff were working hard but maybe there wasn’t enough of them. The bun on both burgers we ordered was overcooked. They were a little black. French fries were hot and good and the milkshake was exceptional!
I’ve had better at this location. I’ll give it another try. But probably not on a Saturday evening.

This restaurant doesn’t seem to follow food safety regulations. Cleanliness level extremely low. Horrible hygiene and grill area looked so disgusting. When the employee opened the meat drawer I saw the chicken stacked in a very disgusting way. The food was not good. They set our sides (fries, etc) aside while they were still preparing the burgers so they were so soggy and dry and horrible. When the kids tried to talk to the employee and tell her that she was not nice and she was talking back to KIDS instead of taking the feedback from them and trying to work on what was wrong. Service, food, and hygiene were terrible. I hope a manger sees this and does something about it.

We stopped at this Habit while returning to San Diego last night. I’m glad we did because we had the pleasure of meeting Bernice when she welcomed us in. She is very helpful, a good conversationalist and all with a lovely smile. The food was delicious, nice and hot! We were able to thank Bernice on the way out. I’m sure The Habit is grateful to have a remarkable employee like Bernice. Hope to see you again on our next road trip! All the best to you!

I was really disappointed with this place. The bacon is paper-thin and honestly pretty gross, and the meat portions are tiny. For what they charge, it’s definitely not worth it at all.

We can not get enough of the Habit. From grilled chicken to the classic char burger it’s delish. Salads and season items too. Tempura green beans are so tasty and they even offer seasonal garlic fries. I do love the ahi tuna on sourdough with teriyaki sauce on the side and ranch for my fries.. dip baby dip! #makeitahabit #thehabit

Very good value for this California-based franchise. The beef patties are juicy and taste freshly home-made. I really enjoyed their selection of juice drinks that featured lemonade with fresh berries and mint leaves. A nice change from regular soft drinks.

Maybe the cashier was just having a bad day but for me service matters especially when I say hello and you just stand there looking miserable. Visit was on 4/26/23 at 10:45 roughly 15 min after opening and in an empty store y9u gotta try and be nicer.
