I love Habit, but unfortunately had a bad experience and probably won’t be eating it again. My hubby and I went on 1/5/26 around 6pm. We both ordered combos. The fries were subpar and barley warm, the burgers were cold the cheese wasn’t even melted and minimal sautéed onions. We just moved here and the habit we used to go to was excellent. This was a waste of my time and money. It sucks the employees just don’t care, how would they feel if they were served the same 🙁

I’ve always liked The Habit, but my experience at the Lake Elsinore location was really disappointing. I paid for two extra ranches, but they weren’t included in my order. When I let the manager know, she asked to see my receipt as if I wasn’t being honest, which felt really unnecessary and unprofessional. After that, she just said “forget it” and handed me the ranch like she was doing me a favor.
I don’t mind honest mistakes—they happen—but the attitude and lack of customer service was the real issue. I hope the management here can work on treating customers with more respect. Enclosed is a picture of my order, so your management team can visually see the customer was right, and not a liar.

Overpriced and middling.
Ordered a burger with fries and a drink, $20, sheesh. Fries were a cold handful despite being $5, the biggest disappointment. Burger was fine, comparable in quality to In-N-Out, but not worth $10 on its own. Medium drink was $4.

I love the Habit, I was excited to get a location in Lake Elsinore. This location is bar far the worst. I ordered from Uber eats as a pick up. I scored a deal: buy 1 double cheeseburger and get one for free. I put in my pick up order at 7:50, the order time was 30/40 mins and expected to be done at 8:30pm. I went in at 7:24pm where Perla and Sydney told me they did not get my order at all and I put it in at the wrong location. I was at the Collier Ave, Lake Elsinore location where I put in my order. They said they couldn’t help me and I said I already paid, figure it out. They brushed through the orders where I saw my order on the screen and they scrolled past it quickly saying they never got anything. Perla then took my order again 2 double cheeseburgers plain, 2 French fries, and 1 fries green beans. She handed me the packed bag said everything was in there, after repeating what I ordered, and I trusted her. When I got home my fried green beans were not in my bag. I live 25 mins from the location because we live on a mountain. This was awful service, my money was stolen because I did not get my full order. I am never going back there. Those women are so rude, the fry cook had to tell them to turn around, stop chatting, and help me. The place is new and it’s a trash, eating hall. Extremely dirty. Gross.
