Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, only to be given a grilled chicken breast. Horrendous customer service. Needs new training for cashiers to listen to the customers orders correctly. Would not recommend going here again.

As of August 28 2023, I will no longer give business to this Habit location due to long wait times and declining service quality.
The last time I ordered at this Habit location was the previous Spring semester.
Today (monday), I was first in line and put in an order for a caesar salad at 11:02am.
I ended up having to wait 20 minutes for my salad to be prepared, while they prioritized other people that ordered burgers and fries after me.
The salad was bland and had little to no croutons.
In addition, it turns out that this place has gotten stingy recently and charges 50 cents for ranch containers (used to be free). I found out at the pick up counter, and was told to go back in line to order a single container of ranch. The register lady who took my order at the beginning did not offer me any ranch or other dressings to purchase.
Personally, I think all full price (paid 10 for the salad) salad orders should automatically come with the ranch included in the container. Is it going to get to a point where I have to pay for the fork and napkins?
Also, it’s funny that you guys charge for ranch, but probably lose more money on the free dried up yellow peppers and jalapeños you have near the drink counter.
In a nutshell, waiting at the Habit for mediocre food makes no sense anymore (20-30 minutes on average if your lucky), and the staff just looks careless or clueless most of the time.

Online menu is not accurate. The veggie burger is not an Impossible burger — Habit apparently stopped stocking those months ago. The description also says caramelized onions and pickles…it’s made with no onions and raw cucumbers instead. Do not expect to get what you order.

Second worst habit burger experience I have ever had. The location is not where it says it is. It is in the middle of San Diego States campus! No parking. No signs pointing to where it is! By the time I figured out where it was the food was cold and fries worse. I used the mobile app to order and the modifications were not made to our food. I’m tempted to boycott the Habit in general. I grew up in the Santa Barbara area, where they started, and when they were a smaller business venture, the quality of the food was insanely superior. As they have branched out the quality has continue to deteriorate with the service. I don’t understand why there are never managers on site. This is the fourth time I have ordered by app and the food came out wrong – so it’s not just this location. I think I need to just accept that this franchise now sucks and move on.

worst experience ive had. the staff during the time i went were very rude. they all had their back towards me, while the others just watched me stand there without offering any help. and when i finally asked for help they rolled their eyes.not only were they very rude but the bar for condiments was completely empty. if i could zero stars i would. waste of campus.
