I have been waiting for MONTHS for a good Shawarma spot to open in Oak Park, quite literally counting down the days until Habibi’s opened. I came here today with my mother who was visiting from out of state, and was AMAZED by the beautiful interior. We ordered chicken shawarma wraps, lentil soup, falafel, and rice—all which were so incredibly delicious. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and the vibe was immaculate. Habibi’s is here to stay!!

The food was delicious!! The hummus is very creamy and flavorful. The chicken shawarma wrap was off the charts! The staff were super kind and they brought out the food pretty quick. There is 4 tables and a small counter area to sit at. 11/10 would recommend!!

Just stopped in for lunch today and it was awesome! Great customer service. They walked us through the menu and different options. We got a bowl & wrap along with a side of falafel. Everything was fantastic and great portion sizes. We will definitely be coming back! Happy to have such a great spot in the neighborhood.

First time at Habibis, after the grand opening and couldn’t be more impressed with both the food and staff. With limited lebonase food options in the Oak Park/River Forest area, I was initially skeptical. However, I am glad I decided to try. The atmosphere was inviting, music not overstimulating and the staff was extremely accommodating with explaining the different items on the menu. Having tried many lebonase restaurants and dishes I give Habibibis in Oak Park a 10/10, great for a quick lunch break or date night….Habibis will not disappoint.

Food was fire! Garlic mash- delicious! Hummus- yum! I loved the atmosphere! Even though it’s kind of a quick grab and go place, they have this cute bench with pillows and it reminded me of the comfort and hospitality of bigger middle eastern restaurants! Just lovely! Definitely returning!

Came here for the first time after a gym session, so definitely had an appetite. It certainly did not disappoint. Service was fast, server was helpful, and food was freakin’ good. The chicken was flavorful and the garlic smash was mouth-watering! Found a new favorite place for sure. Welcome to Oak Park!

Glad this new spot opened up! Food was fresh, the chicken shawarma was tender and I loved the garlic smash. The service was super friendly, too. Oh and you have to try the desserts! The chocolate Dubai cake and pistachio cheesecake are so GOOD.
