I finally had a chance to dine-in and truly a splendid setting. Late afternoons and evenings do get busy, but they have setup the dining area perfectly. I also snapped some pics of it as well as my plates of food.
I also tried their dessert, Baklava. It’s actually really tasty and not too/over sweet. Recommended.
This place is outstanding! I absolutely love the lamb gyro(***now a Mediterranean vegetable option that is added to the gyro, and IT’S A WORK OF ART!!!!***). I ask for it spicy and they use their own blend of seasoning, that’s truly splendid.
Pro tip: If you’re ordering for lunch(work lunch 30 minutes) , order 15 minutes ahead of time because he’s making everything fresh right then and it’ll be up right as you get there!

Came from Dearborn- a place that is known for its middle eastern food -so honestly did not walk in expecting much. However we left having the most deliciously prepared food we’ve had in months.Hands down the best Shawarma I’ve had in MI so far! The chefs are extremely generous and hospitable. Best Mediterranean-Middle Eastern food I had in long time. Quality and quantity both are A+. The lady at the counter was very friendly and supportive. We had the meat platter, falafel gyro and curries. The smell and taste was just amazing and authentic . Must try place in Traverse city. Lot of parking available as it’s in a strip mall. Go with lot of space in your belly as you food is worth it.

We were so happy with the food. Had the turmeric lassi, butter chicken, lamb curry, falafel, daal, saffron rice, Arabic salad, hummus and warm soft pita. The chef came out to let us know that the curry would take longer because he had to make a new batch. When serving, he warned that he would have liked to let it simmer for an hour longer but didn’t want us to wait that long. My husband still ate every single bite of the meat. I sampled his curry broth and it was very well seasoned. The daal and falafel were some of the tastiest I ever had. Food did not come out at the same time but that was just fine by us as it was all warm and fresh and we enjoyed sampling each other’s plates. We are not from the area yet are already talking about what we will try next time we are back.
I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re in a hurry. You might want to call ahead and get it made to go if you don’t have the time to wait for freshly made dishes. It was well worth the wait for us, though.

First time coming, and will definitely be coming back. Coming into the building is very welcoming, nice calm music with pleasant dining area. Menu is nice with the ethnic food with an American dining side as well. Food portions are extremely generous which will make sure your stomach leaves happy. The owner and staff are extremely nice and welcoming and make you feel like a long time friend. Food came out quick and hot, and extremely flavorful. Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu (kangaroo and camel burger, yes please).

This place is PHENOMENAL! Brent offered exquisite dishes, conversation, and service! He even brought me a veggie platter to have with my hummus since I am gluten-free and could not have the bread options. This was an amazing dine-in experience and Brent went above and beyond. So glad there’s something like this up here now. The food is just straight up delicious. I’ve only gotten take-out, but even after the drive home the falafel was still remarkable. You can tell the head chef really cares about what he’s doing! Great place for takeout or to take a date to.
