Habibi is honestly my favorite place in Erie! The very first time I went was last November when I had to stop by the IRS office across the street. The smell of their food from outside literally pulled me in — and I’m so glad it did. Since then, I’ve been hooked. Their kebsa rice, chicken kebab, lentil soup, and hummus are just on another level… heaven for a foodie like me (and I’m a chef myself, so I don’t say that lightly). The owner is the sweetest, so polite and kind — you can feel the love in the place. If the staff gets a little friendlier, that would be a cherry on top. But honestly, I could eat here every day. This spot has my heart ❤️

I got the “vegetarian delight” to go. Look at all this food! Enough for 2 meals! It was all so good! But have to say the falafel was absolutely perfect!!! Definitely will be eating here again. Today was my first time here. I’m new in town & trying out different restaurants.

My weekend meal is very important to myself and my lady. Now, after two bad experiences in a row, it was a breath of fresh air to walk into a beautiful clean decor with an amazing aroma and even better staff. Selection, platting, portions, and taste were five stars all the way around!!! Highly recommend!!!

Habibi is the best Mediterranean restaurant in Erie, or beyond.
First time here. Upon reading the menu there were so many great options, it was hard to choose.
I decided to stick with my favorite Mediterranean dishes, hummus and dolmas. (or grape leaves).
My decision was completely satisfied!
The hummus was made to perfection. In the past, I’ve tried to replicate Greek hummus but to no avail. Habibi completely nailed it. As was the same for the dolmas.
When in Erie again, I with go back to Habibi to get my Mediterranean cravings fulfilled.

I can’t believe how perfect was all the food. They have huge portions and amazing flavor! Our waiter was also very sweet. I was craving for a good Mediterranean food such a long time and this place just hit the spot

This was my first time here at this place. The restaurant is located in the same building as an Amtrak station. It has a comfortable vibe inside.
The lentil soup was my favorite, as well as the Cheese fatayer (tasted similar to a cheese pizza). For my main dishes, I had the sweetheart platter, with three meats, and the shrimp kabob. The shrimp skewers were quite dry, but the kofta kabob (minced beef) and beef kabob were delicious. The garlic sauce really went well with the dish.
Did not have room to try dessert this time, but will definitely go back to check it out in the future
Be prepared to wait for service, as they seemed to be short-staffed

So much shrimp, so much rice. The price is right and the taste is right. My shrimp is blackened! That was a pleasant surprise. Get the habsa rice!

I ate here twice while in the area for work. I had the lamb kabob platter and the chicken pita roll. I really liked the sauce on the chicken pita. The kabobs were good but could have used a little more salt. The lentil soup was ok, I wish I had gotten the salad instead. Service is slow for dining in, but at least they have parking.
Overall, a good experience and I would definitely come back.

Stopped here on a trip home from Chicago to New York. Easily one of the best bang-for-your buck for vegan/vegetarian food. The portions for both meals was well worth the money spent. (Which was less than $40 for two people to eat to the brim and have leftovers to bring home.)

Friendly staff and amazing food. We were in Erie for the week and looking for something other than the normal big chain restaurants. This place did not disappoint. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Some of the best white rice I’ve ever had. I know you wouldn’t think white rice can be that spectacular, but trust me.. Try theirs. I had the kafta pita which I also recommend. Even the salad was great. Fresh ingredients. You can tell they put effort into making great food for you. We will go back next time we’re there.
