This was the best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had, and my friend and I’s families loved it when we brought the leftovers home too! I highly recommend the federation platter and veggie platter. The yebeg siga alicha and yemesir wot were my favorite dishes, and my friend loved the shiro and minchet. The chai was great too!
The owner was very friendly and helped us learn more about the food.

Was going to leave solid 4 starts. Place is nice and clean. Food was simple but good. It was my first time trying Ethiopian food and I wasn’t “wow-ed” though I did like it. The thing that elevated my experience was coffee. I loved the presentation and flavor is really good. I didn’t have to add anything and could just sip black coffee by itself (in most places you can’t). I admit this coffee pot can easily be shared by 2 people and I might not sleep tonight .

We are not experts at Ethiopian food, but we really enjoyed the food and the service.
We ordered Yebeg Saga Alicha (lamb stew), Chicken Stew, Veggie Combos, and Ethiopian Coffee. Our meat dishes were served with the veggie combos in 2 baskets. The basket was lined with rolled up Injera, which is a spongy, flat bread that is huge and sliced up. Beautiful presentation and very tasty. The coffee is made fresh from roasted coffee beans.
Our hostess and server explained everything. She was very sweet and chatty. The restaurant is not that big, but has a nice and pleasant atmosphere.

WOW!!!! My family and I were beyond pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant after leaving the airport. We love Ethiopian food so much and this place did not disappoint. The owner was so hospitable. She made my 3 and 5 year old a special dish that she thought they would love. My husband and I loved our food. The coffee was also delicious even without sugar and creamer. Very clean and welcoming . We will be back if we’re ever in the area again. Thank you!!!!

What a wonderful addition to the HEB foodie scene! Delightfully spiced dishes. Authentic and served with such generosity and care. One of the best Doro Wats we’ve had. End your meal with Ethiopian coffee and the Besbusa (Farina Cake)! We can’t wait to go back!
