10/10 would highly recommend! The man who took my order was very helpful in recommending what to get for our first time. I had the Brisket Alfredo, when I asked if they had broccoli in it or on the menu, he said no, but later went out while the food was cooking then literally went and bought broccoli just to add it. Amazing customer service! My man had the Beef Brisket and Smack-aroni, both were super good. Great family environment with their kids around and watching tv, clean restaurant, and other staff members were also accommodating. Will most likely be back when we’re in town again! Thank you for the experience!

Smacking Cheese – flavorful, a little salty, dry
Potato Salad – vinegary and flavorful
Beef and Beans – very sweet
Plain Rice – very good
Fried Whiting (4 pieces come with the dinner) – fried soft, meat dry
BBQ Brisket – flavorful, saucy, and very very yummy

Amazing food!!! They kept the restaurant open for us since we arrived kinda late and were so kind and hospitable. Everything tasted AMAZING. And holy moly, the cornbread was so weirdly delicious! Definitely check this spot out!

Never imagined halal and soulfood put together….great food. It’s a must try and you have lots of options. We got smoked beef brisket, Chicken and waffles, corn bread. They also gave us banana pudding to try freshly made just like their lemonade and teas.

I stopped by here during a getaway to Atlantic City. It’s a welcomed contrast to the big box hotel food fare. I went twice! The staff/owners are warm and friendly. The food is fresh and delicious! I had breakfast and lunch. I had the fried catfish lunch (comes with rice and a side- I had string beans) and got an extra side of potato salad. So good! The portions are large. My dining partner also had the fish with greens and Mac and cheese. The cornbread is a must. They serve it warm. You can see the fresh kernels. This is comfort food at its best. Thanks to the staff for their hospitality. We felt like regulars!

This place was amazing! The jerk chicken was so well seasoned. It was spicy with a kick of habanero or something. The brisket was really tender. The corn bread was nice and soft and the bean soup was excellent. Everything was so good and I thought the cuisine was very unique.

Ordered at 8:50. Told it would be 20 mins and received at 9:50. Salmon fried rice as good but TOO salty. Yams are a little bland and have apples in them. Mac n cheese was dry overcooked, grainy and old. Brisket was dry, tough and old and just slathered in BBQ sauce. I work in food service so I can tell you with confidence the food was old. I understand it was late but the food was horrible. Customer service was good and it’s cute on the interior. Parking was easy as well. Overall 4/10

Assalamu alaikum me and hubby was just there he had Wings Mac & chz with potato wedges. I had Whiting fish with Mac & chz and yams with mango lemonade juice. It was all so good. Breaking fast due to traveling. Definitely coming for breakfast. Sincerely Khadijah and Mussadiq.

Got a catfish platter with yams and greens, and a Fried wings platter with yams and fries. Food was AMAZING, hot and fresh, and you can tell they care. Service was amazing and the space is cozy. 10/10 overall ✨

I had the pleasure of dropping by Habeebi’s Soul Food during a spontaneous visit to Atlantic City, and what a delightful experience it was! The beef ribs were so tender they nearly fell off the bone and were perfectly seasoned. I particularly enjoyed the string beans with their vibrant addition of red peppers and onions. The owner was incredibly kind, even treating us to a complimentary Habeebi’s fruit punch. If you ever find yourself in the Atlantic City area, I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by this wonderful establishment!
