Great place at the Irvine spectrum! Has a 1960s feel. The menu is simple yet tasty. There are plenty of people running around taking care of the guests. The drinks have a tropical touch to them. I truly enjoyed this place. Pricing is on the higher side, but…. Treat yourself!

What an exceptional and unique experience. The food is delicious and presented in a pleasing and appetizing way. The decor is above and beyond. It’s hard to put your finger on it but the touches and attention to detail is really what gives this place a special feel. Palms, simple but comfortable wooden tables and chairs and high ceilings with low lighting emphasize elicit feelings of the leisurely islander life. My meal, while a bit more than I would pay for a rotisserie chicken with a small side of plantains, rice, beans, was delicious.

This place is beautiful! You do not feel like you are in a mall setting. The food was outstanding! The drinks were marvelous! Is it pricey…yes!!! But so worth the splurge. But what impressed me the most was this. When we were there, the family behind us had some kind of issue. I do not know what that issue was, but the woman was not very kind about it and rude to the very sweet waiter. Next thing I know the chef came out to talk to her and she was still not happy. Then a manager came out and seemed to diffuse the situation. Whatever the matte was, all three employees handled it was such professionalism and kindness. Again, I do not know what the issue was because I could no hear her, but you can tell the staff went above and beyond to try and rectify the situation.

I had a friend out of town who came to visit and wanted to find somewhere cute to eat. We found this place, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The inside of this restaurant is way more spacious than it looks (there was even a group of 12 ahead of us that got seated) and the whole place looks classy but not overly pretentious.

Food here is super great but the ambiance and dedication to the theme and service is what really stands out. Was super happy with my visit and it’s clear that the servers treat the diners with a ton of respect and patience. Really cool to see that on a busy Friday night at the Spectrum.

My family and I visited Habana at the Irvine Spectrum for Mother’s Day, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. Despite having a reservation for 5pm, we were not seated until 5:30pm, causing an unnecessary delay. To make matters worse, we were initially seated at the wrong table, only to be moved to a smaller one after a brief wait.

Habana is an amazing Cuban restaurant in the Irvine Spectrum mall! The original location in Costa Mesa is nice, but this new location in Irvine is absolutely gorgeous inside. When you walk in, you’re immediately wowed by the decor, the ambience, and it almost had a “Pirates of the Caribbean” feel in the restaurant.
