Pork ribs were excellent. We ordered grilled lobster but they served normal cooked.
Pina colada is No.1 in Habana. Sangria wasn’t bad. Good experience.

Habana 61 is one of the most recommended restaurants in the area, and overall the food really lives up to the reputation. The dishes are well-prepared and flavorful, and the service is quite good. However, the prices are on the higher side.
One thing to note is the exchange rate the restaurant uses. When we visited, the street rate was around 455, but the restaurant calculated everything at 350, which is about a 30% loss. So if you plan to dine here, make sure to exchange your pesos in advance to avoid paying significantly more.
Overall, it’s a nice dining experience with good food, but be prepared for the pricing.

We ordered a single dish of grilled lobster to share and were blown away when the plate served had two lobster tails. They were delicious as were the accompanying grilled vegetables. At a cost of about USD$20 with two beverages, the value and quality were superb. Highly recommended.

How to get food poisoning in Cuba; be given food that’s not properly cooked…. (In these “cooked” balls was ice which means they came straight out of a freezer and then were only partially cooked which means there’s a good chance this food could cause food poisoning)

This was by far the best food we had on our trip to cubs and would recommend to anyone in Havana. Food was super flavorful and seafood was incredibly fresh, prices were very fair, drinks were good, and servers were very helpful and spoke English. It’s also a very nice building with good air conditioning. Really recommend the fried beef especially!

We had a really great lunch here in Habana 61 with really good cocktails too. Absolutely happy tummy.
The exchange rate here was 1:350 as of June 18. Give them a try if you are around.

We had an amazing experience at Habana 61.
The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was exceptional. Probably the most attentive staff we’ve seen in Cuba! If you’re in Havana, definitely check it out.

We loved the mixed seafood grill and also the (fried) pork chunks. Both wonderful with the dark rice and beans. Many other great options on menu, but some take a long time to prepare. For example BBQ chicken takes a long time. They care about quality and flavour. The best overall food experience we had in Havana. Very pleasant service and atmosphere.

Great food comes with nice dressing. Great service that you can expect at standard western restaurant. However, it is a bit shame that we found a really soaked fly (the body is ‘soft’) in the guava dessert at the end. Report to the waiters, and the solution is to replace a new one, which we really don’t have the appetite to have. Anyway, we paid full price (inc. dessert), so good restaurant but still room to improve.

If you love seafood you have to try the lobster here. It’s the best in Havana. The seafood soup was excellent too. Waitress Jenny speaks perfect English which made our communication seamless. Good choices of drinks. The staff were outstanding. Services were excellent. Highly recommend.
