love this place! I ordered the New York Steak bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was amazing and everything tasted super fresh. Definitely coming back!
Also, the Yum yum sauce is good too.

Their food is really good, but they got our order completely wrong. It was a $100 meal. I wasn’t suppose to have vegetables, and my steak was suppose to be rare – it’s medium. I got shrimp in my order too and didn’t order shrimp. My boyfriend was suppose to have medium steak & shrimp on rice with vegetables. He went up to the lady he served and told her our order was wrong, and he already gave her a good tip. But her response was, “is there anything we can do?” Didn’t offer to remake it or anything. She offered a coke on the house. Our meals were very simple and close to $50 each, you’d think they’d offer to remade them or give us a gift card or something – not a $3 coke. Unprofessional and disappointing

This review is based more on the overall cleanliness and pricing than the flavor of the food. While the dishes are well-cooked and packed with flavor, the exterior of the building and the outside seating area are extremely unkept—it honestly doesn’t look like they’ve been cleaned in quite some time. It gives off an unappealing first impression, and even when peeking through the window, the kitchen didn’t look much better.
The food itself is tasty, though a bit on the salty side and definitely overpriced for what you get. A simple plate can easily run you upwards of $50–$100, especially if you opt for one of their drinks or specialty items. It’s more of a “once-in-a-while” spot or something you grab when you’re really craving it—not an everyday place.
On a positive note, their customer service is great. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, which helps make up for some of the other shortcomings. With better upkeep and a bit more value for the price, this could easily be a 5-star spot.

The food at this teppanyaki spot was absolutely delicious— everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were decent, and we left feeling satisfied. That said, the prices were surprisingly high for what you get. While we enjoyed the experience, it felt a bit overpriced for the value. Worth trying if you’re treating yourself or celebrating, but definitely on the expensive side.

First I’d like to say that the quality from this restaurants food has dramatically dropped over the past year. Secondly I will never ever be ordering from this place again. As a loyal customer for over a year, my husband and I order on Postmates once a week, it used to be our favorite place. However, they eventually took off the option on Postmates to leave notes where I would always add “no onions on fried rice” so I would always the call the moment I ordered to say plz no onions on my fried rice and the manager there was always so kind to do it especially because he once looked up my account and I had ordered 22 times (at that moment) meaning I’ve spent a pretty penny at this restaurant because we all know Habachi is expensive. Mind you I live in Downey and order from this place is downtown LA, therefore besides the pretty price I’m also paying pretty delivery fees. However, today on NYE they were not willing to do my edits because it’s New Year’s Eve and they’re too busy. Wow, what a way to treat a loyal customer! Happy 2026 to them. Wishing you many more loyal customers because you’ve definitely lost one.

This is my 3rd visit and I must say that the food is amazing and the staff is ever more spectacular! Leilany took my order and help me navigate the best thing to order for my allergy and taste! She was beyond amazing! Definitely will be returning soon!

Ok so no disrespect but the prices here are ridiculous. I got a side of fried rice and a chicken and shrimp combo plate that had 6 shrimp on it and a chicken breast cut up over grilled veggies. It was damn near 60 dollars. Lol yall ain’t gonna make it through the recession with these kind of prices I mean, wow. Never again.

The service was excellent. I was pretty indecisive and the man was very patient with me! We weren’t prepared for a walk up hibachi experience though. So we sat outside at the patio. I got the chicken and shrimp plate. The shrimp was super juicy, but the chicken was on the drier side. I tried all the sauces, and my favorite sauce was the garlic butter, and ginger. My friend got the steak plate and they cooked it how she asked them to. It was good, but it was overpriced in my opinion for what it was- $45 (for my dinner alone) for chicken, shrimp, fried rice, vegetables and a drink. And we had to pay $15 to park

This place is nasty. Doesn’t make sense how people find the food delicious. They serve very low quality meat overpriced, and the food is smelly. Even their bags smell weird. They don’t have any real savory sauces, all of their sauces are spicy to I guess, hide the smelliness of the meat..?
I ordered the lobster + shrimp plate with yakisoba instead of rice. The portion size is dumb small, and the plate base is only half noodles. The rest is vegetables.
The meat in the lobster tail was tough and smelly..and it was like turned over in the tail like it shouldn’t have been.
Also the teriyaki sauce was straight up cold. And for a $70 meal, I was given no utensils.
Only people from LA will say the food tastes good..and they are serving spaghetti as yakisoba.
I wish I could have seen the reviews about food poisoning before I ordered (I ordered on UberEats). I would give zero stars because the restaraunt should be shutdown.

got the New York steak bowl with steamed rice and veggies, it was excellent. Very generous portion of rice and the veggies were crisp fresh. The only downside was it took nearly 30 minutes to get our order since they had just had a rush of customers so they had to cook more veggies and that took a while.
