The servers were very nice and friendly, and the whole experience felt welcoming from start to finish. The vibe is great both indoors and outdoors, so you can choose whichever atmosphere you prefer.
Parking tip: You might want to park on Ave I and walk about 2 minutes — super easy!
Don’t forget to bring your ID to confirm your birthday.

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to – amicable staff, ambiance is great (clean establishment, nice decor, light music), and great quality food at a great price. Came for lunch and ordered the lunch chicken wrap (replaced with grilled chicken) and Brussels sprouts. The fries were great (baked in clean oil), wrap was deliciously doused in dressing with condiments. Paid street parking.

Been here a few times to try out various entrees. This restaurant offers different promotions. Most popular is the free dinner for the bday person. Their happy hour and daily specials are worth checking out. The quality and quantity for the food are superb. bread sticks are good. Dinner rolls still need work. Ian our server was great. Came here for my son’s birthday. Free surf n turf for birthday. We got here before seven and able to catch happy hour. Some cocktails are $8, $9, and $10. Appetizers were a few $ cheaper than regular menu. Overall, happy hour will sure be a good bet to come before 1900.

The Crispy Brussel Sprouts were an absolute hit—they disappeared within minutes! They were like vegetable candy, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The Autumn Bisque was heavenly, rich, and comforting, and every dish we ordered was prepared with such care and attention to detail. The HT Grilled Salmon was cooked to perfection, and even the mashed potatoes were so good we savored every last bite.
The drinks were amazing too! Both the Sicilian Lemon & Strawberry and the Tall, Dark & Ginger were refreshing and well-balanced.
Our server, Alex, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere at H.T. Grill is warm and welcoming, perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion.

We work very nearby and we dine here regularly. You can always count on really solid well prepared food, excellent attentive service, and a great atmosphere that is just a little more upscale and nice nice but still decidedly beach friendly and relaxed. The menu offers a nice variety from lighter choices to fish and meat of course. There is something for everything and it is all pretty darn good. The patio along Catalina is a lovely space to gather as the weather warms up here. As soon as you walk in and are greeted you can tell the place is well managed and they have a high expectation of their staff. If you want to sit down for a nice meal just a little more classy in the village we always recommend HT Grill.

This restaurant is a nice place to eat and hang out in this quaint area of South Redondo Beach, called Riviera Village. The area is bordered by Pacific Coast Highway on the east, and the Esplanade on the west, and one of its main streets is Avenue I. I had a delicious Greek salad, although I feel it had a little too much oil in the vinaigrette dressing. My friend had a grilled chicken salad. The service was a little erratic, though. The prices were a little high, but that is typical for the area, and in general because of elevated restaurant prices overall! Unfortunately, even though we did sit outside, it was a gray day out. We would’ve walked over to the nearby strand, with a steady view of the beach. I would go to this restaurant again, though. By the way, it is owned by the same gentleman who owns Hennessy’s Tavern in Hermosa Beach, and a slew of other restaurants and properties.
