Also known as Fisher’s. Expensive AF and not equally enjoyable. The best thing was the fries. They had no crab legs or she crab soup the 2 things I wanted and it went down hill from there. I interrupted the hostesses gossiping to ask for a table. They told us it would be 10 minutes and they continued their convo. We were within earshot.. it was juicy. Our waiter was nice. We ended up getting the fried trio. The fish was tasteless.. like cardboard no lie the crab cake was eh and the shrimp didn’t even have a good crunch the breading was flaking off. The fries best thing I had hands down. My drank was just alright..

A great place with rocking tables outside. Arguably, the best margaritas on the Virginia Beach boardwalk so definitely come here to enjoy a quality one. Very big difference from the previous disappointing bar. We ordered the calamari also and they were delicious. Definitely a place to come chill at

got crab legs noticed it was on the cheaper side was aware of this just came into the hotel. We’re very very hungry. The first thing you think of when you go to the beach is getting seafood lol so bartenders decided to take an order. Switch off to another bartender to just complain about someone leaving and not getting tips. The crab legs were insanely the smallest crab legs I’ve ever had never had to Worked so hard for still little cab meet I asked for a Old Bay never got it. I want to say everyone was kind aesthetically beautiful but never come back again maybe for a drink

This restaurant is over priced and portions are tiny. I paid over $42 for only six over-salted chicken wings, about 2 oz of tortilla soup and a drink. I laughed when I saw how small the soup was. It barely filled half of the tiny styrofoam takeout bowl. Plus they added a tip to the bill without my consent. I would never recommend this restaurant. Oh and the ginger beer in my mule was flat.

My family and I had dinner at the H Bar and Victoria was our server. She was very nice, attentive and suggested items from the menu that our family really enjoyed! Will definitely visit again.

This was a solid joint. We were staying upstairs in the Hyatt and ran down here a few times.
Had fish-and-chips, Alfredo Pasta, onion rings, fried shrimp and crab soup.
It was all pretty good! I just happened to not be a fan of the crab soup(I was dumb and expected more of a chowder).
As I waited for my food (which came pretty quick) I ended up ordering a whiskey, which was a pretty generous pour. The staff was pretty social and pleasant.
All-in-all, we keep coming back. The bar is definitely a solid place for a drink.
I posted the current Menu as of 4-28-21

On the way to a concert and was needing a bite so we saw this place and checked out the menu posted. We liked what we saw aside from the prices being steep but we knew as seafood and ocean view comes at a price. We were seated an hour later (told 15 mins.) and sat and sat. When a waiter was flagged down he came and we had to wait more. Drinks came awhile after ordered and when we did finally order, our selections were no longer on their menu. So menu posted was old. Well we’re starving now and in a rush to not miss concert. We ordered a fried seafood combo and a steamed one. You know that feeling one gets when the table next to you came after you and then has their meals and has paid and you’re still sitting there starving? Yep. Pics to prove it. Well when I say the meal came late I mean like another hour! Asked about our food from a different employee this time hoping to get some attention as I truly felt forgotten. When the meals come, they are supposed to be a crab cake, veggies, fish and shrimp on each plate. Well my plate had muscles, a obviously dry previously frozen mahi piece and the shrimp with some green beans. Y mans plate had all fried shrimp, beans and mashed taters. So his was missing his fried fish and crab cake and mine was missing the crab cake substituted with muscles. Lol. I’d originally wanted muscles as the posted menu had them but was told they did not have them anymore. Wow! When I finally seen our waiter again as he was mia the most of our time there, I told him. Now we got eight people coming to dispute why I’m wrong here. I nicely explained to each of them what the menu says as to what was in front of us. Well guess what? Some time later after we’ve eaten what we were brought they bring out the crab cakes and fried fish. Great. Have to tote that to the concert now?! Grrr. We got the check a leisurely time later and paid and even still tipped but seriously were not impressed with the service, food quality or prices. Makes me think how much those places are just a tourist trap and I’m a fool for thinking differently.

Ate & had drinks here twice during my Virginia Beach vacation. Once during the night of October 2’nd & once on the afternoon of the 3’rd. This place is no longer called H Bar, it is now known as Fisher’s. Personally I feel the reviews here don’t do it justice. The food is really good as on the third I had a crab dip that was great.

The drinks are good as well, on the 2’nd I had a Titan Rum Runner (warning this drink will NOT like you no matter how much you like it) It was really good and very tasty but quite strong.

Then on the third I had a Wipeout and managed to finish the liquor & flavor contents before the slush contents, and that one tasted incredible too, although if you don’t like the taste of banana flavoring you won’t like it.

As far as service goes, we were fortunate to get Jeremy, he was very knowledgeable about the area and very well versed in what the drink ingredients are. Ask for him.

I recently dined at what turned out to be the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. It started with my son trying to order a steak, only to find that we couldn’t get it cooked medium rare—a huge disappointment. But when the steak came out it was well done and fatty.

The server automatically added a 25%! They mentioned it was in fine print on the menu, which feels very misleading. It was only 3 not a party!

To top it all off, the food was terrible. I honestly think a fast food meal at McDonald’s would have been a better choice. Save your money and time—avoid this place at all costs!
