Not a fan of chains because I feel like they cut corners, but, I didn’t feel like I got cheated here! It was my friend’s first time doing J-BBQ so I decided that the Value Course was the best choice in case she didn’t like it. That didn’t happen, though. She absolutely loved every bit of it! From grilling her own food, to the way everything tasted, to the sauces and accompaniments. When it comes to Japanese BBQ, I’m pretty picky. But, I have to say, I was pretty impressed. Even with the value menu. We came during Happy Hour so that was an added bonus! The staff was extremely attentive. The cocktails were tasty. And the meat was well-marinated! Highly recommend!

This was my first time ever going to a Japanese BBQ place, and it won’t be my last. I went with a group of 4 people and ordered the special for four people. Everything was really good, from the miso soup to the noodles and all the different steaks that come with it and the chicken. I definitely recommend you visit this place if you are in Austin.

This was an AWESOME experience. I will admit it was a tad stressful lol but it was definitely worth it. We ordered beef, spicy pork, and garlic chicken. We also got the chicken garlic noodles, the popular rice, cheese puffs, bacon chips, and fried pork pot stickers. Our favorites were the chicken, the noodles, and the rice. To drink, we had peach lemon drop, Tokyo sunrise, and a hot sake. We we’re thrilled with any of the drinks. All and all, it was a great experience. The smores were good as well.

Our server was super friendly and helped us pick a deal that best suited us. We got the Meat Lovers Set that is meant for 2 but it was enough for 3 people. Meat quantity is a bit on the smaller side (compared to kbbq for reference) but they make up for it by providing a lot more variety of sides. The takoyaki here was also very delicious!

First time tried the Japanese bbq, so don’t have much of baseline here. But food is amazing, I really loved it. It’s an effort but worth it. The beefs are really good and the karange chicken was amazing. The salad dressing was tasty as well. Overall enjoyed my first experience of bbq and will come again.

The food here is great. Wide selection of meats and sides. The only thing to keep in mind is “all you can eat” ends at 9pm. We were a party of 4, and ordered the Party Special for 4, which turned out to be $180 before beverages and fees. Splitting it within the group was affordable. We had a wide selection of meats, and the appetizers are phenomenal (crispy tuna rice, karage, miso soup, beef sushi, edamame). The servers were very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was very aesthetically pleasing. The sauces, noodles.. everything was perfect! And the plus?! The combo came with s’mores! It was so fun to use a fire pit for fresh s’mores. This is defintely a place to come back to when wanting to have a great time with friends.

We tried the cucumbers and garlic noodles for appetizers and a variety of meats for the main course. All were delicious and it was fun cooking your own food. Dino approved.

Good food, but the service is atrocious. Our meal took well over 2 hours, of that, maybe 20 minutes was actually eating. Flame was too low, until we complained, and something was done on the back end. Took forever for water refill (only once in the 2 hours, and only because I explicitly asked) orders were missed. overall a bad dining experience.
