We came on a Tuesday night and loved that it wasn’t too busy. The relaxed atmosphere made conversation easy. Our server, Angelina, was sweet and attentive, changing our grills often and checking in at the right moments. The meat quality was great and we’d definitely come back! There is ample street parking and a parking garage behind the building that I believe you can validate at the restaurant.

Came to Gyu-Kaku yesterday and had a great time. Our server Bach was very attentive the whole meal and always greeted us with big smiles. We ordered the Ultimate set and honestly loved everything we picked. The meat is marinated really well and there are so many options, so it’s easy to find favorites.

I visited last Saturday. I had never been to a Japanese barbecue restaurant before. I was nervous because I was dining alone. None of my friends wanted to come with me unfortunately. I’m very happy I chose to dine alone. The waiter was so friendly and educated me on how everything worked. Explained the entire menu to me front and back. The food was amazing as well. We’ve always enjoyed eating here. But this place looks like a dump. If it looks bad on the outside, I don’t even want to know what the kitchen looks like. We came in about 5:00. We waited 10 minutes for a host to even come to the stand. And then it was another 10 minutes before somebody even came to the table. Countless tables with food on them but nobody’s sitting at them.
