I highly recommend the All You Can Eat option — it’s a fantastic deal considering the quality and variety of meats and sides included. The premium menu features cuts like Harami Skirt Steak, Kalbi Short Rib, Pork Belly, shrimp, and more, all marinated to perfection or served plain for purists. The seafood options and veggies round it out nicely, and the included appetizers are restaurant-quality on their own. We ordered the shrimp and tofu small plates, miso soup with spicy jalapeño paste, butter corn and vegetable bibimbap, sake, and the red bean dessert — and every single dish was incredible. Gyu-Kaku was my first Japanese BBQ and my first experience cooking for myself at a restaurant, and it was overall an excellent experience! The meats all tasted premium, and all the sides were even better than expected. The staff was very helpful in instructing you how each thing should be cooked and were generally very friendly. The atmosphere itself was a nice vibe, too. Chill, comfortable, friendly. A great spot for lunch or dinner with friends and family!

Great experience! The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Our online reservation was canceled due to a glitch. Even though it was a busy Friday night they managed to squeeze us in and give us phenomenal service!
The food and drinks were great! They have an excellent selection of food and high quality meats. Good selection of vegetarian options for a BBQ place. The Beyond Bibimbap was delicious.

Great idea. Cook your meats how you want them. 1 star off for the package deals. We were 3 people. My wife & daughter liked some of the meats better from the party of 4 package. There’s no substituting so we did that one. It said $42.50 per person. As the food came out we got food for 4 . So we paid $170 for 3 people. The empty seat got a soup that we didn’t eat. Double salad,that wasn’t even touched., etc. So you’re paying for an empty seat.. some of the meats were fatty. Next time we go will create our own package from the Al carte menu.

Everything was delicious. Asparagus was a tad underwhelming (just butter), but I chalk that up to the other dishes bursting with flavor. Definitely get the shishito peppers, chili mayo shrimp (11/10), wagyu, and beef tongue (with the scallion sauce!).
We chose to do a la carte as a party of 2 and the price point is really not bad. The quality of the meal and experience are above and beyond. Our server, Enrique, was attentive and eager to help. We have to give a shout out to manager Koyo, as well, for his careful recommendations and friendly service.

gye ka ku has been a great dining experience for me for the last 12 years. Today I decided to go out to dinner with my girlfriend expecting a great night. Except me and my girlfriend are a younger couple and the staff around us showed no interest in helping us. We were circled around for 20 minutes before anyone offered to help us out. This truly was disappointing as I’ve been coming here since a little kid,and usually received a great customer service. I’ve noticed the staff energy isn’t what it used to be and I highly wouldn’t recommend going to this location.

The experience is an interesting one where you are cooking your own food at the middle of your table! If you feel like just sitting back relaxing and being waited on and served def don’t opt for this place… unless that is you go with someone who will handle all the cooking! The meat was all very fresh and tender. We got the Chef special for 2, which includes a very nice salad, kimchi, beef rice, and beef sushi along with the assorted meats. The waiter was very professional, helpful, and attentive. For dessert we had chocolate lava cake and green tea ice cream and hot green tea. The place was very crowded on a Saturday night but the staff are efficient. Different experience but def recommend and food very good.

I rarely write reviews like this. My experience at Gyu-Kaku was ruined by the management. Specifically, the manager, Orli. From the moment we were seated, professionalism and courtesy were gone. Orli was dismissive, condescending, and annoyed by every reasonable request. It felt less like dining and more like being an inconvenience.
Service was chaotic and frustrating. Drinks were delayed. Orders were mixed up. Instead of taking responsibility, Orli blamed staff and customers. The atmosphere became tense and hostile. Attempts to escalate concerns were met with rolling eyes and curt responses.
I came for good food and a pleasant night. We left stressed and disappointed. Orli’s behavior wasn’t just unprofessional. It actively ruined the experience. No amount of good food can fix that. I cannot recommend this location unless Orli is no longer running the floor.
