This place is complete trash!!!
Orderd a gyro with mozz cheese and fries they left the wrapper on the cheese and put it on the sandwich causing my kid to choke and after 45 mins of trying to call with no answer i decided just to get on here and leave a review
It took 9 phone calls to get them to even answer the phone in the first place to order , lady was rude over the phone just trying to get me off of the phone after trying to order

Kinda cool when you go into a small business and see everyone who is invested in its success! In my short time, the owner/ cook, family members, and line cook all in a few min of entering the establishment! Wasn’t looking for a huge meal, but the smell hit me, and I said ok…. ribs, please, presented with this ginormous plater of ribs and fries. Then the line cook brought out a sample of the sholder they smoked for me to try. It was delicious, too. So if you are in the area and want some outstanding BBQ, this place has it… thanks for the meal. On a side note, everyone that was in there as customers, I think, knew each other as they were all joking and kidding. The feal here was really spectacular!

This is a real deal spot to eat!!! My wife loves the Rib tips !!! I jump down on the Double gyro Burger but you gotta have a big appetite for that!! I suggest a single first it’s well worth the $$$$$!!! Great tasting Maxwell Polish and Nachos are cooked fresh with homade chips and you can get whatever meat you want!!! It’s a must Stop!!! The morning cashier is my favorite she’s so sweet and kind, I had the rib tips, gyro and my daughter loves they’re cheese fries. Overall best BBQ and gyros in Rockford to me. Also reasonable prices one of my favorite spots to get BBQ and gyro sandwich.

Ordered the Gyro burger . On the menu it reads Mayo, lettuce , tomato onion. I asked for no mayo – got ketchup , mustard and pickles that weren’t even listed . Meat is burnt and dry , bun was burnt , also found a random string tucked underneath my sandwich. Pretty disappointed.

Omg, fantastic!!! The gyro is better than uncle nicks and Tom and Jerry’s. If you love a good gyro, you have to go here. Plus the price is unheard of, a gyro and the best seasoned fries for under $11!!! The pita is soft, not hard or chewy either!

The food is great. Usually get the gyro plater. It is deff enough for 2 people. The burgers and ribs are a great choice too. The prices are about the same as anywhere else. Would deff get this over any fast food crap for about the same price. The service is good. They are friendly and respectful.

Got the gyro sandwich with BBQ french fries. Great price great food, the tzatziki sauce actually tastes like cucumber sauce like it should. Normally I would go to Uncle Nick’s for Gyros but I was suggested this place. Uncle Nick’s has been around for many many years the food is always the same. It’s nice to see a good take on Gyros from these people. Tried their tacos to they are off the hook. Suggest very highly. You will not be disappointed.

This was the best gyro I have had in a long time. The meat was thick and perfectly seasoned. The onion rings were perfectly fried, and the cheese fries were delicious. The service was polite and patient. They have a huge menu here, and it was a little hard to choose what to try first. There is a little bit of a wait for your food, which I didn’t see as an issue because everything is cooked fresh and hot. This restaurant is also very clean and has a great neighborhood feel. We will definitely be back!
