This place has some of the absolute best food! I crave the fries with the fry sauce and their falafel is the most flavorful I have ever had. This is my go-to spot for lunch or a quick snack to take to the beach. Plus the gentleman that owns and is the head chef is such a nice person with an incredible talent for food!

The owner/chef is very kind, welcoming, and friendly. He loves to talk about his food and will answer any questions you may have. This is the best falafel in Humboldt County (I’m vegetarian so I can’t speak on the gyros; however, if the falafel sandwich is any indication, I imagine that they rock).

Got the chicken shawarma. It was amazing. Also got the baba which was great as well. Ordered a gyro for lunch the next day. When I opened it up for lunch today, it was still perfect. Not soggy, tons of meat, they constructed it perfectly so it stayed together and wouldn’t soak into the bread. The veggies still crisp and fresh meaning they started out fresh as possible. Only drawback to this place is the inside space is small.

I was recommended the chicken shawarma and it was absolutely delicious. I have not eaten many gyro meals in my life but this was absolutely amazing. The chicken, sauce, and picked vegetables all coming together was delicious. I have low tolerance for spice and this was a little spicy but I was honestly worth it. In addition, I got the seasoned fries and it was the perfect thing to get. By eating the fries in between bites of shawarma the seasoned fries acted as a pallet cleanser of sorts allowing me a fresh taste of shawarma at every bite.
I for one, am glad for another ethnic restaurant in arcata. I enjoyed eating here and looking at some local hand crafted stamp art on the walls. Please continue to support this local business because I certainly will.

We had the Vegan Platter to sample everything and it was all perfect! The falafel wasn’t dry and tasted amazing. The cucumber salad was crisp and fresh and flavorful. The Pita bread was soft and dusted with flour in the best way to pick up that divine dipping sauce. All the sauces had a perfect balance of flavor, nothing runny or too powerful. Oh and the Shawarma Chicken is BANGIN! Talk about flavor punch and juicy? Try that chicken!

Just a small restaurant, you can order out the window or dine in. Super friendly staff, suggested the shawarma. It was delicious, the taziki sauce complemented the spice of the chicken shawarma. Was spicier than I though though, still great just unexpected! We ordered and had our food ready to go in like 10 min! We went around 1, it wasn’t busy but the parking lot is small.

Been meaning to stop by this place since they opened, a good gyro is hard to beat. This is more than a good gyro, this is fantastic. A full sensory overload of flavors, everything is so fresh and tasty!
Don’t skip the fries. The fries are a masterclass in fries and put every fry in town to shame.

This place is SOOOO good!!! My husband and I along with our son stopped there twice in a matter of days! Lol we hit it for lunch on the way to crescent city and was so impressed by the service and flavors we had to stop back by again on our way back home to Redding. Hands down the best Mediterranean food I have had so far. Will be returning when we are in the area. Don’t hesitate if you love Mediterranean food or are feeling adventurous. My husband said the gyro was so good he got the first time…tried mine which was the za’atar chicken skewers platter with French fries and a side of Adriatic salad was so good he ordered that when we went back again and so did I! That good!! Seasoning on point the flavors merry so fantastically it will make u weak the Chkn is so juicy and tender…the fries are flipping bomb and the hummus is the best hummus I’ve ever had…jus,..muah ! I cannot wait to go back! Thank you gentlemen for the awesome food and service ❤️…oh yes…the place is smallish so there is seating but it could get cramped quickly…tho I came right at open which was 12pm and it wasn’t that busy yet but definitelysomething to consider. We took our food to go the first time and ate in the car before proceeding on our road trip north but otw home dined inside and again was around opening time and not busy.
