I will not discredit great tasting food. Although the bag stating THIS IS GREEK TO ME hold to its own. I’ve never been to Greece but I had the Colassal breakfast gryo which was something new to me. The Original was true to its own. It’s great tasting food but not your traditional tasting gyro taste. You’ll know what I mean when you try it. Great taste overall and would recommend.

Wow, is all I’ve got to say this is another place that’s fully packed of flavor and delicious. There, I placed an order online for lunch and got the super gyro combo, with the feta fries on the side. The place was clean and the service was fast. The people at the counter were super friendly and polite. I will definitely be coming back here for lunch again.
Update: went a second time and got the super gyro again as well as the falafel pita. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic. This will be a regular spot for something quick to eat.

We ordered the $15 Deluxe combo with a greek salad and the $15 spicy bacon avocado combo with fries.
The deluxe had a bunch of lettuce and the meat was cold. The greek salad was lettuce chunks, tomato chunks a few olives very little dressing 2 small pieces of gren peppers and 3 pieces of cucumber.
The spicy bacon avocado had 1 small piece of bacon and the meat was cold alot of lettuce.
The meats had no flavor and cold to boot.
The greek fries were french fries.
Cost way too much for what they offer and what they sell.
Save your money and drive to the UNM area and eat Gyros Mediterranean on Cornell drive NE.
The location is an older Lotaburger and I mean old.
No renovations at all.
Staff was nice.

Fantastic! We are on a cross country move from Orlando to Vegas and after eating here, we considered living in Albuquerque. The staff was beyond friendly, we cannot wait to come back and see their smiling faces. It was clean and the food came out super quick. And our meal was super affordable. We will be back. We LOVE this place. Consistent and quality food. The meat is on a spit, the tzatziki is so good, never a complaint. The owners/staff are friendly and happy. Fully staffed, which is hard to find these days! Yay for more future locations

Being a Chef, there are a ton of horrible restaurants in town. I have drove by Gyro Shack for years. I finally made an attempt to get food from there. WOW far exceeded my expectations the food here is so incredibly delicious The Philly Pita, Chicken Bacon, Falafel, ultimate, and Greek fries are all incredibly flavorful. My nee favorite spot try it you will like it!

Delicious and fresh tasting food. We ordered the original. The gyro bread was really good. Fluffy and soft. I could eat that by itself and would have been happy. I will for sure be back to try other options on the menu, most likely with a side on extra bread
