My family and I have been eating here and at their previous location which is now the Rapido Burrito on Fairview. I must say that time and time again we have been more than satisfied with not just the food… But the service too.
The owner knows how to do business the business should be done and that is the recipe of his success.
On my last visit, I was in a very bad mood before arriving there, BUT I actually left laughing and smiling. With that said, sometimes people aren’t even hungry when they enter a food establishment… So if that person leaves with a smile… THEY WILL BE BACK.
I believe that the success of many or even most businesses depends largely on repeat customers. If you can make em smile, they’ll be back. It’s that simple.
We love gyro shack, but we only go to THIS gyro shack!

Finally was lunch time, did a quick search and this Gyro Shack location popped up. Immediately knew this was the place. There are so few left in the valley, so I was sold on the spot haha
This time I went with The Z, always good, the onions were well caramelized, and the mild sauce was on point.
To Gyro Shack, there are still many of us that are cultured and know exactly what we are getting and absolutely LOVE your restaurants.
Location was clean, staff was fast and kind, as well as running like a well oiled machine.

I’ve came to this establishment twice now and both experiences have not gone well my last previous visit was the wrong order and I had a hard time even wanting to eat it cause I didn’t. It wasn’t my preferred order and then when I went today, they had forgotten part of my order and the hot sauce as well but it’s irritating when you charge all these things and you don’t get what you’ve ordered and I tend to eat at home especially with this type of milk because it’s a little messy so it’s just annoying to get all the way home and realize that I don’t have all the stuff and that I had paid for this Please be a little bit more vigilant and make sure that people’s orders are right. I understand accidents happen, but like I said, I’ve been here twice in both times have not gone well.

Every time I visit the Gyro Shack on Linder in Meridian, it somehow manages to outdo itself — and that’s saying something. This place has been my go-to spot for gyros, and for good reason: the food is hands-down the best of any location, full stop. My personal favorite is the spicy bacon avocado gyro with the green spicy sauce — it’s like a little edible miracle — paired with their Greek fries, which honestly deserve their own fan club.
On my most recent visit, I was helped by Victor Junior, and he made the experience even better. He’s got an incredible personality and absolutely outstanding customer service — warm, attentive, and just genuinely pleasant to talk to. People like him are why this location stands out so much.
The vibe here is always fantastic — you can tell the owners care deeply about both their customers and their community, and it radiates through everything: the atmosphere, the staff, and the little details that make you feel welcome.

I’m not one to leave reviews often but had to share my experience mostly about the employee.
I visited today, 4/15/25 at noon as I needed a quick lunch on a busy day. I don’t frequent Gyro Shack anymore because the food has gone up in price and down in quality from what I’ve experienced.
Today the man helping me was very polite and I noticed he was the only one working. He asked me if I wanted sauce for my fries which was a huge plus because I always forget and the food was exceptionally good. The fries were hot and crispy and a massive portion, the spicy bacon avocado gyro had crispy bacon and ripe avocados and tons of meat and sauces. So good I just had to share and I have a feeling my positive experience is directly related to the young man and he alone has me thinking of going again and telling my friends in the next couple weeks.

The spicy gyro with red sauce was excellent. The meat was tender. The bread was soft. The sauce was outstanding . The tomatoes were fresh. I am not a Greek food connoisseur so I cannot speak to the authenticity of their Gyro but I can say their Gyro was delicious.

This is the only way to have a pita melt! With chicken, tomatoes, and onions. I always get two sides of Tzatziki so I have plenty. Always delicious! Highly recommend.
