Got the daddy special which was a gyro with a drink and fries. This gyro was stuffed! I had to eat a good portion of meat before I could pick it up. The meat was flavorful and the taziki sauce was homemade. I’ve tried a lot of gyro places and this is hands down one of the best!

Stopped in for the first time and got the Daddy Special. One of the top 3 best gyros I’ve ever had. Great prices and all the food was cooked to order. Staff was friendly and I enjoyed eating inside. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area again. Great job Gyro Shack!

This is a cool little spot! I got a gyro and fries. Really good! I will get an extra pita bread next time. There’s enough meat for 2 gyros and it is pretty damn tasty!
Came back a second time. Got the Gyro plate with extra pita and extra cucumber sauce.

Clean restaurant. Friendly employees. Fresh food made to order. Tatziki sauce is on another level. Best onions rings I’ve ever tasted. Everything they fry is dropped long enough. All the food has so much flavor. Haven’t tried anything I don’t like from here. One of the best spots in Joliet by miles.
