Revised review, to give full context. My co-worker and I ordered the exact same thing here for lunch. We ordered the meaty maximus with drink and fries. My Co-worker received the correct food which had the beef and chicken, I however received the beef without chicken but still charged the same price as him. The Guy working here is not organized . He also messed up another order before me. He also told me I had already received a drink cup when I had not. I use to like this place a lot the food is good but the guy has terrible customer service skills.The Bench seating probably some of the worst seats I’ve sat in. Check for yourself.

What a pleasurable experience i had Yesterday. First off let’s start with the Decor I felt like I walked into Athens Greece..Beautiful pictures on the wall ,lovely Flowers, Very clean and inviting space..The customer Service was excellent, All smiles and cheerful Service which I love ..But The Food Wow Delicious, Very fresh Food , I loved the flavor of all the sauces ,the meat was high Quality, I loved how the Hummus was Topped with fresh veggies and oil wow my taste buds were so excited for that delicious treat and I even got some baklava wow such a wonderful dessert. Being an Ohioan from Chicago, I really miss some good gyros. My bloodstream yearns for them. A friend in the Dayton area told me about Gyro Max. It was quite delicious to where I made a return trip. The dining area is clean to a max. And food portions are large without me being broke to the max. Service is fast and all of my food is fresh. I make this my place for my essential gyro fix. Kudos to the owner on a great job running this establishment.

I’ve been to this Greek restaurant twice, and my experiences have been very different.
The first time, my mom and I were new to Greek cuisine, but the person who helped us was amazing. They took the time to explain the menu, answer our questions, and guide us through our choices. It made for an enjoyable experience, and we left loving the food.
Unfortunately, our second visit wasn’t nearly as positive. We went in hoping to recreate that first experience, but the service we received this time was disappointing. The person behind the counter seemed distracted, rude, and uninterested in helping us. He was talking on his phone through an earpiece while serving us, which felt unprofessional. My mom and I had planned to eat inside, but the uncomfortable atmosphere led us to pack our food and leave instead.
The food itself is good, but the service can really make or break the experience. I hope management addresses this issue because first impressions matter, and we know they can do better based on our initial visit.

Been passing this place for a year, meaning to try it. Went in today and disappointed in myself that I’ve been missing out on this the whole time. It was clean, and beautiful inside with amazing artwork on the wall. The food was fantastic. I got a gyro, with a side of Greek fries. The price was fantastic, and the workers were so kind and helpful. They definitely have a new customer for life. I can’t wait to come back!

Gyro Max is a welcome addition to the Dayton/Riverside area. The interior of the restaurant is fresh, clean, bright and welcoming to sit and enjoy your meal. Employees (which one I believe was the owner) were extremely kind and definitely aim to please. Our meal was to-go for 5 people (3 of which were under 5).
Food was extremely fresh. The vegetables were really crisp and definitely have not been sitting around in the cooler. Chicken strips (got for the kids) were your typical chicken strip. They tasted as if they were made with rice flour. The fries were definitely a tasty side and would recommend trying.
The Dolmades appetizer was served hot and had some sort of red garnish that tasted like tomato sauce. (Have never had that on dolmades before). They were good.
The Gyro (Handheld) made with Gyro (Lamb and Beef) meat was really loaded! They did not skimp on this dish. The veggie gyro was a bit too overloaded and would recommend skipping the handheld version and just order a salad. It had an excellent flavor but was missing the hummus the online menu from their website indicated it would have.
The tzatziki was very mild and was lacking cucumber flavor and held onto the Greek yogurt flavor and thick texture. The falafel were a bit dry and required a lot of moisture. The pita bread on the Gyros and as a side were thick, soft and tasty.
Overall, I rated Gyro Max a 5 because it is definitely a recommend for fast and QUALITY Greek food in the area. The interior atmosphere is a real seller and the value for the money is definitely there for their Gyro’s. Will definitely return, but will skip the falafel.

Before I tell you about the food, let me make sure you get there. Google Maps took us to the opposite end of the shopping center and we almost missed it. Gyro Max is located right next to the Autozone.
First, the guys running the place are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and comfortable.
Now the food. Fantastic! Everything you see is super fresh. The gyro meat is nicely seasoned and cut directly from the rotisserie. They pile a ton of meat on a soft, fresh pita and add whatever toppings you want.
We got a large side of hummus with pita bread, and instead of me trying to describe it, just look at the photo I uploaded. Please excuse me for sampling it before remembering to take the photo.
If you like Mediterranean food, you have to try this place!

As you walk in the decorations are outstanding they match amazingly with the color pallet. The people behind the counter were nice and friendly. They had a very diverse menu. I got Greek fries and a Chicken Gyro. The Greek fries were out standing and full of flavor, I recommend to get them. The Chicken Gyro was amazing with the Chicken being so neatly cut and the delicious flavor. Overall this is a nice cozy restaurant that is worth coming back to.
