We stopped here after reading the reviews. It did not disappoint. The gyros were amazing. The fries were amazing too! Crispy just how we like them. The lemon pepper seasoning on the fries was amazing.
We were especially impressed with the owners who are clearly young entrepreneurs with great business sense and drive. I loved that they had their information posted on the bulletin board and the young lady came out and chatted with us.
Overall it was a great experience.

I personally am NOT a fan of downtown eau claire. Far to busy and a lot of weirdos. BUT, hear me out on this one, you walk down the sidewalk and make your way in. The place is quiet, lowfy vibe music in the background, and a beautiful greek aesthetic to tie everything together. A small and simple place to escape the hustle and bustle of college town. This is all before you order. The menu is simple and easy. Gyro, grilled chicken, and falafel. You can get it as a pita, a salad, or a rice bowl. (The ricebowl is my recommended, though my boyfriend went og with the pita) the gyro is tender, juicy, mouthwatering good. And you see they have loaded fries. That catches anyone’s eye of course! Those fries were a last minute add on. I will tell you, they are a meal in themselves! The flavors tie so nicely together and everything is cooked to perfection. The meal is finished, almost too soon for those flavors, though you are now stuffed to the brim! You must now walk out and share with the world how wonderful the gyro king is under its newfound owners. The end.

What a gem! My wife and I came in from out of town to visit our daughter at school; she recommended it for lunch. EXCELLENT food! We all had the lamb gyro’s – we all remarked on the quality of ingredients and the taste. Really fresh, excellent tatziki sauce. Highly recommend! Prices/person were very reasonable, about$11/person. Support this small business!

I came from out of town at a convention nearby and wanted to look for a place for lunch. Originally from Chicago area so I saw this place on maps and decided to try it out!
Absolutely LOVED it! Authentic Greek food/gyro. Fries were immaculate. The two people working were so friendly and nice/approachable! The restaurant is also decorated to look like one you would find in Greece.
Veggies are cooked with the meat so everything is hot and fresh (a different take on a traditional gyro) but if you like the veggies raw you can order it how you want!
I will be back for more soon, highly recommend!

Great little spot! Went there and got the falafel rice bowl. Falafel was tasty and hummus was too! Prices are reasonable – great spot with a perfect meat-free option. Service was great as well. Will be returning. 🙂

This place changed owner but name remain the same, food got a little better and the prices fit the economy well. Yea this place is a fast food restaurant but its menu is unique and food quality and service is great. I have ate here a few times under the new owners regime and I must say they live up to being a King in the restaurant business in Eau Claire Wisconsin on Water Street.
