Don’t let the low score fool you . This place is a hidden gem. Food options are limited in Waterloo but the food here is pretty bomb! Don’t let the low score. I got the double gyro sandwich. My other colleagues liked their rice platter. It’s like a Halal cart food in ny. Prices aren’t bad. Friendly workers. Would come back again.

Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. The gyro supreme was delicious, you could definitely make 2 Gyros with the amount of meat and veggies. Just add a second pita to your order. Meat is lamb and beef like it’s supposed to be. I pulled up bobtail with my truck and no one had a issue with it.

We visited this place in our way to TN. This was a random search on Google maps and the place looked like a small restaurant. This is local family owned I guess and they serve the best food. We were shocked to have a tasty dinner after looking at the place. Service was quick and nice. They have the best crunchy fries and garlic cheese curds I ever had. I would recommend it for everyone. Also they have a huge menu to try out.

Gyro Hut has been on the corner of 9th and and highway 218 for years now. I used to love going there and getting the Italian beef sandwich. But it seems like every time it goes through a new owner the quality of the food gets worse.

Well most times the chicken is really juicy but if you order after lunch like 2-3 the chicken will be dry and the biscuit will take a lot of pop to get down. But catch them on a good day and the chicken will be best you ever had.

What can I say about this place?! It was OUTSTANDING! The service was excellent, food was prepared quickly and freshly. The prices were excellent and the portions were HUGE!!!! Of note: the cheese curds and okra were really something to write home about. If I lived in the area I would be back here in an instant. Thanks for the delicious food!!!

This place was really great! I ordered the Supreme gyro, and it was amazing! A TON of food for super cheap (around 10 dollars). It wasn’t a super long wait for how many people were there, and the staff was incredibly nice! I can’t wait to visit here again!

Awesome food here at this hidden gem! Some of the best broasted chicken in town, everything we tried was delicious! The bun on the burger was out of this world. I had a tasty chocolate shake, also heard whispers of homemade ice cream coming this summer!
