I’ve loved the gyros at the Mount Vernon Rd. location for years. This is my first time trying the Kirkwood 2.0 location. The gyro I had tonight was the best ever. Fresh off the spit, cooked and seasoned to perfection. The pita was exceptionally good as well. I live in Iowa City & stop by at gyro hut when nearby and need my gyro fix. They never disappoint and are still the very best in the corridor area. They are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. And I’ve had a lot of gyros.

Tried this for the first time based on the reviews. Was very happy the reviews led me here. I tried a gyro and was very impressed. I liked the fact they put jalapenos on it. Never had that anywhere else. Fries were good as well. They give you a good amount of food. Everyone I was with all said their meals were good and want to come back in soon.

First of all the food was acually great, and inexpensive, plus made to order(don’t burn ur tounge like I did XD) The staff was super nice and told me abt everything I asked with a smile. Guys this gyro i never had anything like any where i tried in newyork to but I like gyro in cedar Rapids better than new York The taste and food was so owsome Guy it’s shows how the chef do the Hard work guys i recommend this place if have chance to give this place top recommendation i would give double recommendation cuz the food taste as well looks great and healthy all staff so hard work keep up guy’s i will come again and I tell to my friends to come and try this place they going to like it
