Place is unassuming from the outside. Get inside and you’re greeted with savory scents. Mediterranean pictures and dwcor cover the walls. Food was fantastic! Our table ordered the lamb and beef Shwarma, spicy gyro (lamb/beef and combo), chicken kabobs, lamb kabobs, large hummus, and Greek fries. The gyros were the biggest gyros any of us had seen. Those of those that got kebabs we had to get to go boxes. I had the lamb kabobs whic were grwat leftovers (cold and reheated). They really held up. Our group was a group of Mexican, Greek, & Irish. Many of us lovers of lamb (one raises them so we know good lamb). All in all legit delicious. Fantasric hummus. No one had complaints (except the AC, see note at end). My only regret was being too full to try the house made ice cream with pistachio topping!

Note for groups: We (group of 6) showed up at 5:30pm on a Friday without a reservation. Had we shown up later we may not have been able to get a table. *Consider a reservation* If you’re a large group saying on separate tabs you’ll need to order at the counter. Otherwise they’ll take your order at the table.

Note on service: Normally I would rate the service lower due to long wait times for tabor and getting up to ask for boxes, however they were short staffed and it got busier after we ordered and I don’t belive it reflects the normal experience and I believe in giving grace.

Note on AC & Heat: we asked for the AC to be turned off but it went from 66 F to 63 F before going to 74 F and we just had a good chuckle about it. Our group included folks from Napa, CA and Southern Oregon so they put on jackets. I being a PNWer was wearing light wool and remained comfy throughout our dining experience

It’s been at least a year since I’ve ordered from Gyro House and tonight I decided to go onto Uber and saw that they had a little deal. I was going to order my usual, which is a Lamb Gyro with Spicy Sauce and Feta and a medium order of their Fries!
I saw that they have PIZZA!
I ordered the Lamb Gyro Pizza with extra Lamb and ordered a bunch of Spicy Sauce, Tzatziki Sauce and Feta Cheese to dip my pizza. I’m only 2 slices in and I’m writing this review! The pizza is AMAZING!!!
MUST TRY!!!

Great little Mediterranean restaurant. The lamb gyro was perfect with just the right balance of meat, fresh crisp greens and sauce. And the pita was perfectly soft, warm and fluffy. And omg, the Kanafeh was delectable. If you have never tried this wonderful dessert, it is a must! Chewy cheese pastry topped with crisp, honey and rosewater saturated coconut shreds and a sprinkling of pistachio made for a tasty symphony. Incredible! The owner stopped by our table to chat, and he was very gregarious and pleasant. I will definitely return!

Wow!!! What a nice surprise! This was our first time here. As soon as we walked in, we were treated like old friends, welcomed like family!! Chad was so nice recommending items off the menu. The restaurant was clean, atmosphere was beautiful. And the food was vibrant, fresh and colorful.

Don’t pass up the Baklava. We had the pistachio Baklava and it was AMAZING.

The fries were delightful with the spicy sauce and feta cheese.

Portion sizes were big. Definitely got our money’s worth.

Thanks Chad!

I love eating at Gyro Shack, but I decided to try a new place since I was on vacation…again. I found this place in the Beaverton area near my hotel that caught my attention. Well, actually my wife picked it out. So here we go…
The restaurant was very clean and organized. The dining area had an appealing decor that was appropriate for the type of food served. The service was prompt, polite, and very professional…to the point where it felt like an upscale restaurant where I’d need to be wearing something other than shorts and flip flops.
We placed our orders and patiently waited as we secretly gazed at other people’s plates in awe. Then the gyros arrived.
HOLY MOTHER OF CHUCK E CHEESE!! My bed and lamb gyro must have weighed almost three pounds!!! Good golly!! My gyro was equivalent to about four or five gyros from the Shack!! I tried so hard to finish it because it was so good and I was so hungry. However, the gyro won and I lost. So I saved the rest for later. Wow… I could not have made that gyro at home for less either. The price was excellent for the amount of food!! We also ordered the hummus and pita bread as an appetizer. it didn’t sound nor look exciting at all, but OMG!…that was seriously the best hummus I have ever had anywhere!! And not just the hummus!…the pita bread too!! Puffed up hot and right out of the oven…delicious! My son got the chicken gyro from the kids menu and THAT ALONE would have probably filled me up. Plus it was delicious too!!
I love the Gyro House and highly recommend it to one and all.

P.S. I didn’t get a chance to try their falafels but they looked AMAZING! And I jealously watched another man patiently devour them with a look of great pleasure in his eyes.

They don’t mess around with the size of the Lamb Gyro here, not a bad deal for $13. The Tzatziki could use a little bit more garlic and a bit of shaved cucumber for consistency would be great but otherwise very authentic

My family and I had a great experience at Gyro House! The staff was kind and accommodating of a big group (16 people) and the food was great. In the past we’ve had a really difficult time going to restaurants with the full family because people struggle to accommodate but here it wasn’t an issue at all. We were gathering to celebrate my mom’s birthday as a surprise and it was perfect. She was so happy! I’m so grateful for the staff and look forward to returning! Oh and the price was super affordable too. Great food, great service, great value 🙂

Amazing food! I ordered the spicy lamb and beef gyro with extra tzatziki. Funny people, great atmosphere. One of the guys told me he made the baklava himself earlier and that was special. Everyone was personable and friendly. The chef was funny when I ordered two bowls of extra tzatziki. The look on his face. I love chefs lol. The tzatziki is the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

When I tell you this place is awesome…. I mean it! I came here once previously with my girlfriend and we were blown away at how good the food and service was. Well I just came in again today, and this time I’m leaving a review. I was having a rough day, and the owner Zouhair must have been able to tell, he was extremely generous to me, and was very attentive and polite , god bless you Zouhair. Last time I got the Kafta gyro, it was absolutely loaded, the falafel is AMAZING, the lamb gyro is tender and cooked perfectly. The Tabouleh was fresh and zesty and delicious, and don’t even get me started on the pistachio Baklava, WOW! This time I got the Fried chicken combo, it is SO fresh that juice bursts out the second you take a bite, it is seasoned to perfection and crispy and light. The coleslaw is refreshing and creamy. Everything here is an absolute delicacy. I’ll definitely be making this my go to spot from now on.
