Obviously a local favorite – must have been 50 people come through during lunch hour. Price for food is incredible, the falafel was crispy and flavorful and the lunch special yummy platter with chicken was out of this world. The lamb kabobs were tender and juicy. Throw a little tzatziki and hot sauce on it and it was easily 5 stars. Great experience!!

First time, but definitely not last going here. The food was phenomenal. It was made fresh to order and did not disappoint. I had the shrimp kebab platter with spicy rice and it was delicious. The better half had the chicken kebab platter and also it did not disappoint. Look forward to trying other menu items in the near future.

Update 6/27/25: I was pretty disappointed and didn’t want to say anything to the owner about my order looking like it was skimped out. By that I mean there was not enough rice or meat and it wasn’t packed to the top like the 1st time I got it. Pretty bummed about that. I don’t want to spend my hard own money on this again if they continue to do this
Old review: The place was overall ok.. i like the hummus a lot and the seasoning on the gyro meat was good but they didn’t serve the usual HALAL RICE which was disappointing. It was more of a Spanish rice which was ok but it’s not the same… no jasmine rice sadly. And I think the waitress that also spoke Spanish didn’t understand my order.. i asked for a mixed platter and i received just a platter with gyro meat no chicken. Lol I’m not from this area so i had already driven off and should have checked it before I left.. the whole meal was about $17.07 for a “mixed platter” and hummus which came with 2 LARGE pita breads.. my husband loved the food so ill take him back to try other items.. the waitresses were friendly and acknowledged me when I came in

Gyro Grill in Wayne is a total win. The food is fresh, flavorful, and comes out fast even when they’re busy. The gyro meat is perfectly seasoned, the pita is warm and soft, and everything tastes like it was made with care not thrown together.
Portions are generous, prices feel fair, and the place is consistently clean. The staff is friendly, upbeat, and actually pays attention to details (which is rare these days). If you’re craving a solid gyro or a quick meal that still tastes legit, this is the spot. Highly recommend will definitely be back.

Excellent Israeli flavor of Mediterranean food. We’ve been to Israel and the food easily compares. A fair amount of seating if you intend to eat in with an attentive wait staff. Very quick service as well. Plenty of available parking.

Best food in town. I have never stopped by Gyro Grill and got disappointed, the quality of food and service is outstanding always fresh food anytime any day. The chicken kebab is amazing extremely tender and the shawarma is just the best I ever had in my life. Their Hummus is one of the best hummus you’ll try and won’t forget about it. Everything in this place just makes you wanna try all their menu and you never get tired from their food. They use quality ingredients which makes their food taste amazing and what makes this place special is how the owner himself welcomes people like you’re coming to his house and not a restaurant I love the food, the service and the atmosphere in this restaurant and I definitely recommend it to everyone who’s looking for quality food. Thank you for being good to your costumers and serve food with a lot of love.

Came in tonight with my girlfriend for the first time, we wanted to come check out a place in our town in Wayne. I like Mediterranean food, but my girlfriend is trying new foods, but she wasn’t feeling it. We kindly said “we’re going to go somewhere else” the waitress didn’t respond and just walked away with an attitude and said under her breath “their loss”.
We were shocked by this, and thought it was completely unnecessary.
